:gem: Blue Diamond :gem:

Blue Diamond is one of my favorite Steven Universe characters, and I haven’t drawn her in a long time so I finally did. She’s looks a little different because this is based off of what I want to wear for my cosplay of her! The changes would be that I wouldn’t do the u thing in her hair, I would just wear a sleeveless top, and I’d add some jewelry.

I think this works with or without the implications of what jewelry means in the gem world, cause it can insinuate royalty which she kinda is, and if jewelry is bad and made up of shattered gems it makes sense. I love her but she was one of the main leaders in a evil dictatorship and threatened to shatter Ruby so 🤷‍♀

I based it off of the actual jewelry I would wear, the simplified version of course, which I’ll share down below. I get the basics of my cosplay delivered tomorrow and I’m super excited to try it out! I only got the clothes, wig, body paint, and makeup for now, cause cosplay be super expensive. I plan on getting the rest like the shoes and jewelry later on, and maybe her hooded cape, I’m no so sure if I should with the tiara, but we’ll see. My dad has a 3-D printer and knows how to do colored epoxy resin stuff so he’ll probably make her gem for me. I’ll try out the makeup tomorrow and most likely show the result, I hope it’s good rip.
