So when I saw Carnealian post some adopts, I immediately feel in loved with the tiny winged fairy, Red Beryl. So my Draw to Adopt will be for her.

Personality:

Red Beryl is a cheerful and hearty little gem, the opposite of those in Yellow Diamond's court. She was a good listener to other struggles and situations, and will always give advice and lend a helping hand. She hates to see gems get emotionally hurt, even if they do deserve it.

Weapons/Abilities:

This little Beryl does contain the ability to flight like other winged gems. For being quite small she has a good advantage in speed and agility. Though, it would be a problem for her if she would have to go into combat, for she isn't that strong, nor her abilities serve any offense.

Her only ability she knows of so far is that her wings will expand to create a bubble around her for protection.

Backstory:

Beryls on homeworld are used as a counselor sort of gem. They would sit down with gems in a regular session, and would increase a gem's confidence and positivity in battle. At first there were thought out as defective due to not having a offensive weapon, being small, and not strong enough to handle themselves in battle. So the entire gem line was sent to shatter.

A Red Beryl who wasn't found yet have met with a rather depressed gem and would talk to them in a counselor sort of fashion. This Beryl was caught, and was about to be sentence to execution.

Before the Beryl's shattering trial they saw the gem the Beryl has interviewed were radiating positive results and was excelling father than those in its same cut.

Apparently Red Beryls are found to give gems a long lasting time of positivity effects, which this unusual phenomenon sought them out to be the lucky stone of positivity. Unforuntely since most were shatter due to a misleading, they are now rare gems on homeworld.

I hope you all like this small AU I thought of for this adopt. The Beryl's backstory, and weapon choice was decided based on these 4 paragraphs on Red Beryls from the Crystal Vaults website.
