Greetings all! While finishing up my profile renovations, I’ve decided this was something I could get out that wouldn’t be too strenuous and since I’m done school, we can get the ball rolling. I mentioned before that I would like to establish a team of creative people on amino to complete projects and just make some friends so I figured I could post to applications to get things started

||Preface||

Ideally, I would like a team of 6 including me. 3 writers, 3 artists. Tho realistically, I’ll probably end up with a team of 4. 2 artists, 2 writers

||Requirements||

1. Activity

I am fully aware that everyone has their own lives. And especially in times like now I would hate for you to put something off that’s blatantly important to do some projects on this team. So I am, by no means, asking that you be here constantly everyday. I can’t even muster that. I just ask that you check in every once in awhile given we’re working on something. Deadlines will be preeeeeetty wide and broad so you’re not stressing.

In fact if we have a team of six, it’ll be rare that I need everyone ed for depending on the project we’re doing. You don’t even have to hit ‘check in’. I’m on here constantly I just don’t check in so I’m not holding that against you at all. Just pop in when you can.

2. Age

Im 18. Let’s just get that out there lol. Now I’m not gonna run the narrative of ‘older people are more experienced or better at most things than younger people’. I don’t believe in that. I have artist friends that are younger than me...and SO! MUCH! BETTER! THAN! ME! So I, by no means, Wanna invalidate you in that regard.

I will state that the minimum age I’d like to apply is 14. And if we’re being honest I’d prefer that you were 16 and older only because I’m confident I’ll be using mature language and talking about things I’d rather not discuss with a 10 year old. That’s legit the only reason I’m setting the minimum where is is. Please don’t cancel me.

3. Skill Level

I do not believe in a good or bad artist/writer. Either side of the spectrum doesn’t really sit well with me. I believe in less and more experienced creators. I don’t want to get up here and say your writing or art is good or bad I barely like my own style. But when applying, understand that I’m looking for a specific skill set. I have people I know that I trust their abilities and that I will ask to this team but I wanna connect with more of you guys and that’s not letting me do that. Plus they’re all busy so-

4. Comfortability

Ive said this before but I would like for the group of people I establish to be more than just a group of people. I want friends on here, and a lot more than what I have lol. Like the type of friends that go on a group call while their work on art or writing and just mess around. Or even play video games I’m open. AND OF COURSE WE WILL BE ROLEPLAYING. I also understand that it can be awhile to get to that point and that everyone has their reservations for being open online about themselves and I will respect that. When I establish the chats for the team, all I’ll ask is a name, age, and pronouns and that’s all you have to do. Anything else down the line is completely up to you. I can’t make you change at all and I don’t want to but I’d like to know you’d be open to getting to know each other better. Again, don’t cancel me.

||HOW TO APPLY||

1. Message me privately

2. State your name, age, and what you’re applying for. For artists, there are 2 spots and I’m looking more so for background and creature/ animal artists. This isn’t the only thing you have to know how to do and it won’t be the only thing you make but I suck at backgrounds and animals so send help. For writers, I’m just looking for peeps who can write some good world building, characters, and filler/stalling plots. There are 3 spots for writers.

3. You must send at least 3 examples of your work.

For writers, just send three different excerpts of your writing, ideally encoming different aspects of writing like world building/setting, dialogue, rhythm etc. If you wanna send more than 3 that’s cool. The more material you send me to get a good idea, the better

For artists, it’s like a portfolio review. Send me 3 or more of your works that encom different elements of art like composition, style, contrast etc. Things that show off everything about your skill set.

4. Me lol! When you send me your application in a private message, all I will say is thank you unless there’s something else I need from you. This will not dictate my thoughts on your application...I did that on purpose! Afterwards, you will not hear anything about it until I make the post of the team and invite you all to a chat. So don’t expect anything until then

So your application should look like this:

And then I’ll say ‘Thank you’ and that will be it!
