It's been long enough since I've been talking about Mima and Chryso without dropping some actual content, but the truth is I have TON of doodles about my two best babies. So it's time for a doodle dump, a pretty big one (kekekkekekkeeh) ~

WELCOME TO THE KING AND QUEEN OF SLOW BURN :two_hearts:

So, Mima and Chryso.

When they met the first time she was still mute, waiting for some witches to break her curse on the Coven Planet. He (of course) was there to go and say hello to one of his exes, and they immediately found a liking in each other: Mima never met anyone as kind and respectful as Chryso, and he found her cute and corcky just like his closest friend back on his old planet.

Mima decided she liked him, and she wanted to be the one to take care of him, since he decided to take care of the rest of the universe (without telling him, naturally. And she wouldn't tell him even if she wasn't mute). They seemed to be destined to be friends.

Of course, eventually Mimosa decided to go and break her curse by herself. And when she met Chryso again, he discovered he had not even /started/ to understand how silly she was. And he adored it.

...

... He really believed it.

So for everyone who's not my mutual and doesn't know, they are both in a relationship with another gem, so they ended up being each other's confidant. Mimosa even got to meet Colla once (the dead Chrysocolla that is now a tree on Kitalpha Beta together with a dozen other dead gems). She told she wanted to help a sad Chryso even in his sleep, so they ended up in a Chrysoception.

Ps. She is a witch with the power to make things true with her voice.

The problem, with them, is that they BOTH have feelings for each other. Mima denies them strongly and Chryso always try his best to hide and ignore them. "She's gay, and she was abused, I could never..." - "He never showed that kind of interest, AND I LIKE GIRLS WTF..." etc etc. No she's not gay, she's a very in-denial bi. But that can slip out sometimes. Not that it changes anything.

She was also there when Chryso ended up breaking up with his girlfriend Beetee. She had already broken up with Sparkle (after his suggestion, they were very toxic). He has problems maintaining relationships stable, and she hates himself a lot for it.

Mima, by the way, understands him well. Maybe because they resonate on the same wavelength, and because he let her go deep inside his demons and nightmares. She desperately wants him to be happy.
