wasn’t intended to be a painting when i first started it, but it developed into that pretty fast. since it’s a painting the features are a lot more detailed, so it helped me figure their face out a lot more.

this thing i did here outlines the structure of how their face is shaped so it was easier for dashi to translate it into her art style.

this includes the portrait from before, a little smaller simple one i made for fun next to it, some eye refs, a pallete, their gem, a full body one for their outfit, and a little one of their human disguise. i rushed to finish this one right before dashi did her version, but it turned out alright and demonstrated what it needed to.

woahhh art style whiplash lmao. i got in a call with dashi while she drew this one out. it has the gem form and the human form in it. once she finished it, she sent it over to me and i colored it with the pallete in the last one, with a few changes. like, i made hiddenite more green instead of blue and changed the darkness of the sweater in the human form.
