This was for the #fireflymascot challenge.

Meet green Calcite! (Nickname Lightning bug) I used calcite because google said it's what's used to make glow in the dark stuff. So yeah lol.

The conceptualization of their design:

First off, I wanted the gem to look like one of their main functions was to create light. For instance their gem is on their head, and has a type of harness looking headpeice to make the gem resemble one of those flashlight helmets.

Calcite is a lot like a aquamarine, but with an obnoxious glow about her lol. That also translates into her personality. She can fly, she has one of those zero point energy things that aquamarine had, and she GLOWS. what more could you want lol.
