Obsidian means protection. Obsidian is a gem that serves the almighty Yellow Diamond as a protective guard who keeps rare and important gems such as sapphires away from harm.
Obsidian has a long metal rod that is used as a staff-like distablizer. The staff concentrates gem disrupting energy that can easily rip through a gem's physical form instantly and poof them.
If Obsidian gets a clear hit on the gem, it instantly isolates the gem from its body, poofing the physical form and bubbling the gem. Although the staff is usually used to guide upper class gems, they are also great defensive weapons.
Obsidians are considered very high in command as elite attack forces much like the powerful quartz soldiers.
I hope you guys love my new OC as much as I do! I feel like with multiple OCs, I could write a fan fiction with them! So far I have Pyrope Garnet, Citrine, and Obsidian to create a good fan fiction! Also, I plan to do the Gemsona Pool Party thing so be on the look out of that!
