here is my entry for the #LilliSheraChallenge

let me introduce you to melanite

for the shera gem challenge I received scorpia. and unlike what i was originally planning (using a stone native to the scorpio star sign: topaz) i decided to do a little more research.

in the series shera (2018 reboot) all princesses have a magical crystal called a runestone. scorpia, as a princess, possesses the runestone black garnet, thus I decided to use the black garnet as the gem she would be.

kinda makes sense?

black garnet is also called melanite so I just refer to her as melanite.

because she is still a type of garnet- I took a lot of her inspiration from the canon garnet of the SU universe as well as from shera's scorpia.

i ended up with this :)
