“Minty” Aquamarine

My entry for #CTAC!

The prompt I was assigned was Hersheys Kisses and Aquamarine—so here’s what I came up with! For the design I took inspiration from those mint kisses they sell around Christmas.

Minty is a slightly off-color aquamarine. When she was forming, iron impurities in the ground gave her a greenish hue instead of the traditional Aquamarine blue.

She’s sweeter than most other Aquamarines, who tend to be bossy and snobbish. This made fulfilling her purpose of leading gem missions for Homeworld a bit difficult.

After Era 3 kicked off, she moved to Earth and began working as a chocolatier in Little Homeworld. She much prefers making gems and humans happy with her delicious treats to her previous life as a Diamond stooge. Her specialty is mint chocolates!
