This is an entry for the #disneygemchallenge contest. It is the story of Pinocchio, but with Pearl (I was going to do it about Lapis cause she had a cracked gem, but Pearl’s nose made me do it). Please enjoy.
I am Pearl, and I am not a real Crystal Gem. I want to be one, I was one, Rose made me one, but Rose is gone, so I am no longer a Crystal Gem. I told myself,” Garnet can see you lying, they all can.” One day, Peridot was on the run again, and she activated the hub again. We went to crash it down. While we were there, a miracle happened. ME AND GARNET BECAME SARDONYX AND SMASHED THE HUB DOWN! It felt so good to be Sardonyx again, then I got an idea. Once we left, I took Peridot’s ship and rebuilt the hub. The next day, we came back, and me and Garnet became Sardonyx again! It felt so great! I was a Crystal Gem! This went on for 2 weeks.” I still don’t see us finding Peridot in the future,” Garnet said.” Pearl, she rebuilt this, right?” I replied,” Yes!” Suddenly, Garnet looked at me in horror. I covered my mouth. My nose grew 2x it’s previous length. ”Pearl, HOW COULD YOU!” I started to cry. “Garnet I’m sorry! I just wanted to be a real Crystal Gem, but I couldn’t without Rose, so-“ My eyes swelled up. “I MISS ROSE!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. Steven and Amethyst looked at me with concern. ”Pearl, you are a Crystal Gem, even without me or Rose, now, I am still mad at you, so will you stop lying?” I said, ”Yes,” and my nose grew 2x it’s size.
