Ruby and Sapphire Collection: ing the Trevor Project

Hey everyone, Cartoon Network has a new Ruby and Sapphire collection of merch and I want to tell you about it--not only because it looks excellent, but because a portion of what they make on sales during a limited time is going to benefit one of my favorite charities: The Trevor Project!

Every year some of what I give to charity goes to the Trevor Project. They are a wonderful queer suicide prevention organization that actively works to provide hotlines, awareness, volunteers, and help for bullied, depressed, and desperate queer youth.

I love these folks because they are providing easily accessible immediate help for marginalized young people, and also leading the way in educational efforts. I am a queer activist and my community was once asked to help the Trevor Project develop materials to help volunteers assist asexual callers on their crisis line. They are inclusive and non-judgmental and comionate. They want to provide a light in the darkness and avoid this senseless loss of life.

Anything you buy from this collection from today through October 10th, 2018 will result in a 10% donation to them.

Wedding Drinking Glasses

These pretty glasses come in a set of two, each featuring one of the married Gems. They're really classy.

Enamel Pins

You can get a Pride Garnet or this two-set of Ruby and Sapphire. Adorable!!

Patches

This set of Ruby and Sapphire Gem patches come together and can be put on clothes or bags.

And of course Garnet's Made of Love patch is a great addition!

Keychains

This is actually one keychain--Ruby on one side, Sapphire on the other.

Bags and Pillows

Many of the new designs in this collection are being put on pillows and cool shopping bags with handles. I love these!

Garnet's square head on a pillow and a bag delights me.

Ruby on one side, Sapphy on the other. Obviously this design is more appropriate for Ruby but I think Sapphire looks cute as a lil cube too!

There is also an older set of shirts that came out closer to the "Reunited" premiere which are still available on Cartoon Network's shop. They are Ruby and Sapphire themed but it doesn't look like they're part of the donation deal.
