This is the second part to the story

Something was sticking out of the water with peach colored hair. It’s skin was dark blue like the ocean’s deeps. Its hair covered its face like a veil concealing the eyes, but it was facing the piper directly.

Nothing changed for a long, so the piper took her flute and began to play the song again. The creature bobbed its head to the beat with a smile and sang along. It came closer to shore revealing its feminine structure and finned appendages. She was a mermaid.

The piper had heard the stories but was unsure if they were true. She stopped playing once more and the mermaid stopped its advance.

“Hi. I see you liked the song I play. Are you really a mermaid.”

The mermaid looked down on herself then look at the piper. She said nothing.

“Please speak. I would at least want to hear your name.”

The mermaid opened her mouth again. Pain swelled inside the piper’s head. Light flashed and the vast ocean she was looking at was replaced by a blanket of grass and flowers. In the middle of the field was the mermaid, only this version of her had legs. Her hair didn’t cover her eyes as she danced around the petals. Then, the vision ended.

The piper’s head was ringing now. “Wh-what was that?”

The mermaid said nothing, but she looked upset. She didn’t want to hurt the piper.

“So you can’t speak.” The mermaid nodded. “That place you showed me; I’ve seen it before. You want me to take you there.” The mermaid nodded again. “But how will I take you there?”

The mermaid came to shore and reached one fin to the piper’s shoulder. She would be carried.

“Oh.... ok. Then I’ll take you.”

The mermaid smiled with glee and the piper felt warm in the face. The mermaid soon was on the back of the piper. The mermaid was also warm to the touch. The piper’s heart strengthen which gave her the strength to carry the mermaid to the place she longed for.
