A new Steven Universe toy called Micro Pozers popped up recently. I saw the pics but couldn't find anywhere to buy them online, not even eBay. Maybe partly because they're a pretty awkward-looking toy and everyone seems to hate how they look.
I found them today!
I know, they're weird and not at all attractive toys. But since I collect all SU toys, I needed to get them! I finally found them at Toys R Us while out wandering all over town for Free Comic Book Day!
This is Micro Pozers Series 1, consisting of Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven. (Did you just sing the song to yourself?)
Here's what the back of the package looks like:
I unwrapped the figures. They each come with a magnetic stand and a magnet at the end of each limb.
The figures can be stuck to each other in limited ways, but though they can bend a bit, they ease back to the original position.
Now, because Micro Pozers all have an identical body style with a square head, I can't really criticize the design for not varying the characters' heights and body shapes. The paint seems pretty accurate for a simplified toy, and their faces look like their real faces, albeit very flat and limited in canvas size by the standardized small square surface.
Predictably, Garnet is the only one who looks appropriate with that head shape. That said, she's the only one I have a complaint about.
Due to having magnets where her hands should be, Garnet has no Gems.

Anyway, I'm super pleased I was able to find these at Toys R Us. It's really unusual to not be able to find a toy for sale anywhere online. My friends and I actually found a lot of cool stuff while out during Free Comic Book Day! This is all the stuff I got:

So now I need your opinion, SUA:
Where should my new Pozers go?
Should I put them here on either side of my complete Pint Size Heroes collection?
Or here in between the Domez and the Original Minis?
Or somewhere else? Where would these guys look good?

I think they go well between the Domez and the Original Minis, I think the height variation is eye pleasing.
Oooo Invader Zim?!? I saw and Invader Zim comic book! And I saw a book by Shannon Hale! Have you read her other book Real Friends?
I like Invader Zim, one of my rooms has a Zim theme haha
I don't know Real Friends, but I have read all the Goose Girl series (The Books of Bayern) and the Princess Academy series.

I loooove Invader Zim, I cant wait for the movie to come out! Real Friends is the only book I’ve read by her, I didn’t know she had all those other books! I’ll check them out!
I think they fit well with the original minis, sort of matching the four figures behind them
I'm worried it's too much blocking, harder to see the Domez back there, since 4 are standing on 4 more and it's hard to see the lower ones.
