SU AU Challenge

I have some alternative universes (aus) that I absolutely love, and since there’s not much out there based off of them, I decided to host a challenge!

...and to formally apologize for completely abandoning my Gemling Challenge! I realize the due date has long since past and still winners haven’t been announced. Honestly that’s because, One; I’m lazy and don’t have much time to begin with, and Two; I really love all of the entries and don’t entirely know how to rank them! So the official winner post might never actually come and I apologize deeply for that. I’ll do my best to work on that though, and hopefully the winners post will come!

Now, as I said earlier, I have a couple aus that I really enjoy, so for this challenge, you will be choosing an Au and creating something with it!

SU Winged Au

There’s a few different versions; one where only the gems (& Steven) have wings and they don’t have their gemstones, one where everyone has wings & the gems still have their gemstones, and my personal favorite, the one where everyone has wings & the gems also don’t have their gemstones.

Monster Au

Much like the Monster Falls Au for the Gravity Falls show, this Au features our SU characters as mythical/fantastical creatures! Pearl is commonly a vampire, though a harpy or a fairy would also work well, and Amethyst is usually a werewolf, although I’ve always thought she’d be a great centaur. In any case, you can decide what they’ll be, it just needs to be something mythical or fantastical, like a creature out of a folklore story!

Witch/Magical Au

This Au is rather simple, but there's a lot that can be done with it. Basically, the gems (& Steven) are witches! Ya know, herb gathering & potion making & spell casting and all that!

Honestly I’d love to see what y’all think of Connie in these aus, but that’s not technically the challenge so I won’t throw that at y’all

Basically, you pick an Au (you can mix some together if you want) and create something based off of it! This can be artwork or stories or both or.....well, anything really!

-The wings in the Winged Au must be based off of a actual bird (This can be taken loosely; I just mean please don’t make their wings neon green or something.)
