Today on Stuff You Might Have Missed

A few lesser-discussed nods to Garnet being a Fusion early in Season 1:

She gets to say “We” all by herself in the theme song

They let her count off the “TWO!” in the band

They give her an instrument that’s two instruments together

Amethyst calls her the G-Squad

Yes, there are plenty of other fun ones, like the two stars in the opening, the obvious outline of Ruby and Sapphire’s silhouettes, the suggestion that fusion isn’t hard for her at all in “Alone Together,” the mismatch between her Gem colors and the ones she accesses on the Temple door, and the whole, ya know, having two Gems and three eyes thing. But I enjoy these ones and see them talked about less often.
