Besides my silly doodle comics, it's been a while since I property drew a cannon character... And by a while I mean Y E A R S. But today I would like to present you an art piece featuring era 1 Hessonite commanding a spaceship!

Why did I pick Hessonite?

Well, ignoring the fact that she's "𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜𝚝, 𝚖𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚒𝚌 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚑𝚞𝚖𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚐𝚎𝚖 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚐𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚡𝚢" I was always a big fan of hers. For how influential her character lore is, the show did Hess dirty. Not physically appearing in a single episode puts her in this strange abyss of irrelevancy, to the point that at least one third of this fandom doesn't know about her existence.

The same goes for the other Homeworld garnets too of course, which breaks my heart ╥﹏╥

These are actually very regular messages regarding the state of her battleship

I use a Gem-glyph font I created for myself by mostly studying the Unleash the Light dialogues, small help from the internet and a tiny bit of imagination.
