~This isn't allowed~

This is my writing for this months writing warp, I've never participated in one before so I have decided to give it a try.I have two ocs I'm using for this.

Homeworld was busy like usual, gems all over the place doing their jobs and following orders.One gem in particular was heading up to the palace to get a gift of some sort.That gem was known as Bubblegum Quartz.The gem was a dark pink in color, with long messy pink hair that was almost white and wore the standard Homeworld attire.

The gem entered the palace, and her diamond's pearl began escorting her to the throne room.She entered the throne room with Yellow Pearl's help since she didn't exactly know her way.Yellow Diamond was sitting on her throne before she noticed Bubblegum.Yellow Diamond called upon an Aquamarine which the Aquamarine flew in with a pillow of somesort.

The pillow looked soft and almost velvet like on it was a gem, a pearl to be precise.The gem was a light purple in color, the Aquamarine presented Bubblegum with the pillow.Bubblegum on the other hand wasn't expecting a pearl but greatly accepted the offer.She gently took the gem before being ushered out of the throne room, where she began walking out.

She held the gem close as she walked back outside, where she went back to where the quartz cubbies were.Once she arrived she gently rubbed the gem, as the pearl began to glow.A shell appeared and it stated in a feminine robotic voice.

"Please identify yourself."

Bubblegum them replied "Bubblegum Quartz." She wasn't prepared for this, she didn't have any use for a Pearl.But maybe she could have a friend, or even mode.No that would be wrong, you can't have a relationship with a Pearl.The voice then came again, scaring Bubblegum momentarily.

"Greetings Bubblegum Quartz , please state prefered customization options."

Bubblegum definitely wasn't prepared for this "Oh, my stars." She whispered as she replied "Uh... purple?" She had no idea what she wanted her pearl to look like, she'd be fine with anything really.The voice than rang again saying.

"Stars and purple selected, please stand by."

The shell floated backwards, and landed close to the ground before the pearl began to rise from it.The pearl looked rather strange but unique at the same time, her skin was a light purple but it seemed almost white.Her hair was long and curly and the color of it was a deep space blue, her hair liked to sparkle in the sun like stars in the night sky.

Her outfit was also quite peculiar, she wore a dress and the skirt reached above her knees.The skirt looked like a galaxy which also seemed to sparkle like the sun, the top of the dress was shoulder-less and the sleeves were short.The top of the dress was a deep purple, which went well with the galaxy pattern on her skirt.She had black leggings that covered the rest of her legs, that weren't hidden by the skirt.

She wore black boots that reached her lower ankle and were tied neatly.She also wore black fingerless gloves that reached above her elbow.Her eyes were a light purple, that on rare occasions sparkled with curiousity.Her face was decorated with small star shaped freckles on her cheeks that matched her look quite well.Her gem sat on her chest, which may be the reason she had a shoulder-less dress which was also the same place Bubblegum's gem was.

Bubblegum Quartz was in shock she didn't know what to do, this was the customization stars and purple were.The pearl looked over at Bubblegum and stepped off the shell, causing it to disappear.She smiled as she walked over "Hello Bubblegum Quartz, thank you for bringing me into the world.I am Nova Pearl." She said with a smile, she did seem more lively then most pearls.

Bubblegum nodded "Your welcome Nova, I don't have anything for you to do so I guess we could hang out." She sat in her cubby, and gently patted the spot beside her for Nova.Nova wasn't all that sure "Won't you get in trouble if you, hang out?" Nova asked not wanting Bubblegum to get in trouble.

Bubblegum shook her head "I don't have anything to do, so we can hang out." Nova was still reluctant but nodded as she sat by Bubblegum.They sat there for awhile, Bubblegum began telling Nova about almost everything so she'd understand.

Three million years later

The two had gotten very close, Nova had developed some anger issues but Bubblegum has managed to keep them under control.The rebellion was developing around the time and Bubblegum was getting set to go to Earth, without Nova.The two were spending the last few days together, being separated from Bubblegum made her want to crack but she was thinking of a plan.

The day arrived where the two would be separated, for months maybe even years.Nova wanted to cry, but she had a plan.Before the ship departed Nova snuck onto it and hid, she was hidden in a spare room which was dark enough she wouldn't be easily seen.The ship landed on Earth after awhile and most of the gems including Bubblegum left the ship, she snuck out as well stepping foot onto the grass.

The planet was beautiful, nothing like she had ever seen before.She knew where they Quartz' would be so she snuck off to an open field.The grass swayed gracefully in the wind as she looked around almost in a trance, she understood the rebellion.She hoped Bubblegum understood too, but she didn't know nor did she want to get in a fight with Bubblegum.

The stood up and dusted herself off before she made her way to the quartz'.She made sure she wasn't seen as she walked up to Bubblegum smiling.Bubblegum noticed Nova and freaked out "Nova your not supposed to be here you could get in trouble!" She whispered loudly as she put her hands on Nova's shoulders.

Nova looked at Bubblegum "I thought you'd be happy to see me....but maybe you wanted to leave." She said as tears formed in her eyes, this wasn't what Nova expected at all.She then ran off still careful to not be seen, where she fell and landed back into the field.

Bubblegum reached out to grab Nova's arm but missed, she then ran after her. "Nova wait, I just don't want you to get in trouble." She made it where Nova fell and helped her up before hugging her. "I didn't want to leave, but I had too and you know this.I just don't want you getting in trouble." Nova hugged back tears falling down her face "I was hoping you'd be happy to see me but you seemed mad..."

Bubblegum wiped Nova's tears "I wasn't mad Nova, I just care for you is all." Once Nova stopped crying Bubblegum looked around in fascination "The rebellion....has a reason Nova.This planet is amazing." Nova nodded before she stopped hugging Bubblegum, she seemed a bit distant.Bubblegum sighed "Nova I'm sorry, how can I make this up?"

Nova shrugged before she began walking through the field, Bubblegum following behind her.She obviously didn't even know, she felt betrayed by the own gem she might've loved.Then Nova said.

"Bubblegum, this isn't allowed."

Those four words hit Bubblegum hard "Nova, I know but we don't have to tell.They won't know if we just stay here." Nova stood there quietly before saying "Bubblegum I know I'm your pearl and all and these three million years have been amazing.But I'm just not sure we should be doing this, both of us could get in trouble I we get caught."

Bubblegum then said "Screw Homeworld, screw the diamonds even.If I can't be with you, without getting in trouble I'll shatter myself on the spot.I want to be with you, these years have been the best I've ever had.Let's not give them up because of Homeworlds rules." Nova turned around and hugged Bubblegum "Don't shatter yourself, I don't know what I'd do without you."

Bubblegum kisses Nova's cheek before the two began to fuse, the being was tall and somewhat slender.But the arms resembled a quartz' the fusion was stable and only reached about 7 feet.The fusion hugged themselves "This feels nice." The two then unfused willingly, as Nova was still hugging Bubblegum's.The two walked through the field once they've made amends with each other.

A thousand years later

The two have gotten closer, they had their moments with bickering but it didn't have a huge impact.The war was almost over, the rebels were winning and a strange light came from the sky.The quartz didn't know what to do and his behind a rock, summoning a small shield.The rocks gave decent protection and the shield held out giving the two shelter.

The two hugged each other closely, as the light had disappeared.The two weren't corrupted but had fused after it disappeared.They walked around their bond closer than ever, they knew it was somewhat safer to walk around.

The two have remained fused for years, not wanting to unfuse since they felt closer that way.Their bond is almost unbreakable at this point, which is good for them.
