Who REALLY Shattered Pink Diamond?

SPOILER ALERT: This theory heavily spoils The Trial. Proceed with caution!

"There it is, the ion, the fury, that caused the diabolical Rose Quartz to... shatter her own Diamond!"

- Green Zircon

See that eye roll there?

One could argue that Yellow Diamond was annoyed by Green Zircon's dramatic tone, but what if she's annoyed... because the statement is untrue?

And did you notice how keen Yellow was to end the trial and shatter Rose?

Or how surprised she was when Steven said he was guilty?

When she cut into Blue Zircon's speech?

Or how angry she was when Blue Zircon accused the Diamonds?

That leads me to think:

Did Yellow Diamond shatter Pink Diamond?

Outside of The Trial, Mr. Greg and Bismuth provide more evidence for this theory.

"I designed this sword for a fair fight. It can cut through a Gem's physical form in an instant! Destroying the body, but never the Gem."

- Bismuth

Bismuth, the creator of Rose's sword, stated that it could not be used to shatter a Gem.

"It was a SWORD!"

- Blue Diamond

Yet, Blue Diamond seems to know how Pink was shattered, and won't accept any other views.

Like Zircon said:

"Whoever did this was already close to Pink Diamond. Someone her guards would allow to get near her, someone she would listen to when asked to stop her palanquin, and step outside, and someone with the authority to cover it up afterward! Someone like... one of you!"

Someone like Yellow Diamond. Yellow could have easily said that she was the first on the scene, and given Homeworld her version of the story.

Now for Mr. Greg.

We know after watching That Will Be All that the song, Both of You, was symbolic of Blue and Yellow Diamond's grief over Pink.

Rose symbolizes Pink Diamond, Pearl symbolizes Blue, and Greg symbolizes Yellow.

Greg IS the reason Rose is gone, so wouldn't that hint that Yellow is the reason Pink is gone?
