Emerald was made on homeworld as the brother gem of jasmine (another OC) and was sent on a ship to Earth before the war to fight against the revolution but found out about the cluster through a sapphire. He ed the rebellion and had his weapons made by Bismuth. During the war he was forced to fight his very own crew and was told to shatter them. Since then he has never forgiven himself and left the rebellion near the end of the war. He now lives in the forest near Stevens farm keeping corrupt gems and fusions at bay. His non gem arm (left) is partly corrupted from when he was forced to try to fuse with a corrupt gem but it was stopped by Rose when they found him.
