backstory

Once upon a time, a gem was growing in the kindergarden in homeland, everything was normal that day, ruby's guarded, roses healed and peridot's builded.....but...there was something special about that day, special in a bad way, that was the day when a off-color was born. Gneiss, gneiss is a gemstone, more like a stone and stones dosent really-- get alive like gems-- and this gem was also a male, male gems are different than females they cannot focus that much, they use their body functions for their own purposes and such....he was also too short----he was born under a sunstone, and when that sunstone came out of her hole, she warmed up everything melting gneiss's gem (what was a bismuth) inside the wall replacing it with stone. So he was born as a stone.an Off color.

In the meantime yellow diamond heared about the off color, gneiss. She immediately wanted to shatter gneiss to hide her fail. But right before yellow was about to shatter gneiss with her verry hands, gneiss started glowing and when yellow closed her hand, gneiss just BOUNCED right out from her hand breaking a window and landing on the ground. Gneiss got up dizzing, but after he realised what just happend he ran under a building to hide. He was found by a gem...a gem with 2 heads--- it was a rutile. Rutile leaded gneiss into a hiding spot....but gneiss wasn't really into it...he just wanted to explore the word! But...the others: ((Fluorite Rhodonite Rutile (twins) and  Padparadscha)) didn't liked hes plans. So he decided to go alone, gneiss got out the hiding spot and sneaked into the kindergarten where he was born and hided in a hole, he waited.....and he waited....and waited. And one day, a peridot came to controll the kindergarten, when gneiss noticed her he took hes only chance and rushed her and took her limb enchanters and called a space ship....somehow. The space ship arived without a driver he stole the spaceship and since he didnt knew how to fly with it he just pushed buttons and controlled it how he could. He got the ship to fly, crushed into a few buildings then flyed out of homeworld. He was relaxed for a few second...but then the ship's alarm started to ....alarm... The ship had no more energie......so it just flouted in the space..... Gneiss just waited....and waited....and waited....after months the ship was pulled in by a planet's gravity. The planet earth, gneiss paniced broke the front window and jumped out of the spaceship....gneiss landed in an ocean, and the ship crushed into the ground. Gneiss couldnt swim....but gems can breath everywhere...he got out of the ocean and saw a big city. He was extremely scared...it kinda looked like homeworld. But less extreme...yes y'all it was beach city. Gneiss looked around and spoted the forest, he quickly ran into the forest and hid there for like....5-6 years studying plants and animal life....but after that time. He was ready to head out. So he did! He sneaked out the city not being noticed. He hid behind a building,and looked in from its window...he saw clothes...he saw hoodies, pants, shoes, socks....it was a cloth store! So he broke in the window.....of course, humans heared that and rushed over there...but they saw nothing but the broken glass.

"Great....."

They said

"I will call help..."

The human said and walked out of the room. Gneiss peeked out from the 'Not usable clothes' basket and looked around. He choose himself a hoddie and other stuff. He got out of the store went back into the woods and changed hes clothes

....in the next days he got more braver and braver. Until he was 100% used to the humans and city. He meet some humans he liked for exemple onion! He fought it was weird since onion is a plant. One day he was curious and decided to to the other side of the city....there was a fence...he just climbed over it and saw a temple, and a purple and a white gem. They were talking....gneiss didn't heared it that much since he was hiding...but the white gem spoted him and screamed

"uhh--GARNET ANOTHER ONE GOT IN!" the white one said and walked into the temple.

A big gem walked out of the temple and said to the white one "i was right here you didn't had to shout." she said. Then she walked towards gneiss, gneiss tryed to run away but hes clothes got stuck into the fence and the big gem catched gneiss.

The big gem said

"...." she looked a shocked... She fought there was no other gems on this planet. And gneiss was also cracked.

"Who sent you?" she asked a bit angry-ly

"No one--?" gneiss answers, he was scared

"....then why are you here?" she asked

"....was just curious what is behind the fence---" gneiss answered.

"Now you are coming with me." the big gem said takeing gneiss to the temple.....

The white one, who was a pearl, the purple who was an amethyst, the big one, who was a garnet, and a rose quarz spoke....gneiss got hes gem healed and figureded out he was more then just a simple being...he was a gemstone. He discovered powers he didn't knew he could do and had. After talking with them...he came back every week or second week to ask questions....after he figured out himself. He was proud to say he is a gemstone. He changed hes cloth style.

And After years he befriended amethyst and steven, and he was really amazed by pearl. He wasnt there 24/7 of course...he still liked hes good old forest. He learned about the earth, its beauty, and...the war that happened.....after what he learned from earth. He was ashamed he couldn't fight for the earth. So he promised he will defend the earth....whenever he can since the crystal gems take most of the work--- he does in solo i guess.

He is officaly not the part of the crystal gem. Even tho he is oretty close to them, And if it comes to talk about it he becomes nervous. Thats why he trains every day.

He gets a bit of a money for doing steven's work around the house secretly. Trough hes adventures he got to homeworld and saw where he was born. After the diamonds ing him... He forgot about hes past. And became a happy bab

-mimic boomerang-

a boomerang that can be ANYTHING. What can act like a boomerang. (Like steven's shield or Smokey-quarz's yoyo)  but no matter what it is. It will always act only like a boomerang.(only has the power level of hes boomerang like if it looks like steven's shield...it will not be that unbreakable and defensive like the real one) And it will be always a darker color then the mimicked weapon sould be.

-Rock hard-

since he is a "stone" mostly....(right, wiki?) he can harden hes skin/self. Soo ye. He can go hard.

-rock heart-

if he touches a fused gem's gem's senter and concentrates. He can un-fuse them.

-Hide'n-

if he wants to he can end hes physical form and hide in hes gem. He can still use hes harden ability.

After deadly moments he figureded out that not only hes boomerang can mimic things but hes body too! But he cant use the power that well. Yet
