In the beginning, Ruby was just like any other Ruby being a bodyguard, escorting, etc, but He's was tired of doing the same thing over and over again he requested to go out on missions but. Being a common ruby his request got denied, nit seeing any other option, he decided to take matters into his own hands the first thing he did was change his appearance. He wanted to make himself look different as possible. He then took a roaming eye ship and flew to a planet where there were sightings of rebel gems. He'll retrieve the rebels, and maybe they'll put him on a team to go out on missions and just guard.
