Originally served Pink Diamond, she escaped with her pearl and a small group of "off color" gems. Technically, Obsidian is defective, being too short, but that was overlooked once she proved a proficiency for fighting during the Earth War (where she also earned a pearl). She got tired of Homeworld but refused to the Crystal Gems, so she and her group are out exploring the universe.

She's kinda reckless, and has a short temper (pun intended :point_right: :point_right: ). Her weapon is an axe, but she rarely uses it. She has lava wings, and can swim in lava. She usually fights without weapons, preferring hand-to-hand combat.
