able to gather the interested candidates

who are willing to offer millions for the

project." Han Jisung was speaking to the

CEO of the   organization. Despite   the

amount of hours and effort that went into

the fundraiser event, it was still fruitful to

see that the product launch most likely

be a successful one.

Once the guests had settled in, it did not

take long   before   the   huge   projector

displayed in front of them was essentially

being put into full use for showcasing

their rumored artificial intelligence model

-L0K2. The value   of   Park   Blockberry

Organization was not unknown, neither to

the daily wagers nor to the elite business

population of South Korea. The constant

hum and drilling of   employees   in   the

company since day one was commended

- the mechanical, technology and database

departments always buzzing   with   life.

Nothing was ever left unattended and

always taken care of.

A special team, consisting of the best

employees who were experts in their

departments   was   formed    for     this

particular     model.    The    technology

department     consisted     of     Hwang

Hyunjin, Lee Minho, Ha Sooyoung and

Choi Yerim. The department

were finally able to manage a break to

discuss how to go on about the inner

wiring of the model.

“The model’s data is not processing

naturally, it is currently running on a

backup and cannot sustain the battery

for long. We need to rectify that before

the launch happens.” Minho ran through

the computer for any further progress.

“Aren’t we on a time limit here? We

could need some more time than the

launch event in   case   there   is   any

pending   error.”   Yerim   and   Hyunjin

discussed the remaining details before

departing to program research for any

incomplete details.

“Listen, Minho. I was thinking   if we

should go for the other alternative. We

still have a blueprint for the second

prototype saved in the basement. It’s

more advanced than prototype L0K2

and the idea of keeping it away for

further development wouldn’t guarantee

any success for us.” Sooyoung let her

thoughts out in a persuasive manner,

alerting Minho of a deviation of plans

at the last minute.

“That’s not possible, Sooyoung. You

very well know that there is a huge risk

involved in introducing an   advanced

model. Not only will it reveal the data

behind   the   artificial   intelligence   to

potential investors but also, if it fails to

meet   any    requirements    then    our

biggest production of the   past   five

years will be   unrecoverable.”   Minho

rebutted.

“I was only suggesting it in case we

have a casualty. I wouldn’t   put   our

organization’s efforts   in   vain   for   a

personal benefit.” Sooyoung   replied,

tersely.

It had taken the organization a long time

to design an artificial intelligence that

met the criteria of a military bot. It’s aid

mainly lied in sparring and taking bullets.

Many tests and trials later, the robot was

lacking commands in shielding.

The advanced prototype was the dark

horse of Park Blockberry Organization.

The company had spent a long time

perfecting the robot for fully fledged

purposes, not only in its field but also

for its self destructing capability which

enhanced its decision making skills.

The   acceptance   of   a   higher    level

technologically independent   artificial

intelligence was still in two   words –

condescended upon. It had the potential

to either make or break the organization.

No one was ready to jump into waves of

unknown criticism.
