                                        hyunjin is going to perform

                                        a drama in summer but

                                         when he was practising, he

                                        commented on how The

                                         Puppeteer is a very cruel

                                        character in the drama.

                                         Now, hyunjin’s life depends

                                         on what minho decides to

                                        do for hyunjin’s actions,

                                        where minho is a

                                         puppeteer and hyunjin is

                                        the “puppet”.

The Earth, separated into two different parts. The Ground, and the Sky. These elements made the world become one harmony.

Ground serves the vegetation necessary for humans, holding all sorts of human beings and creatures. Sky provides all the necessary elements needed for the lives of the people on the Ground.

But, there’s a twist that only some people know about. In the Sky, where everyone thinks is the most beautiful place you can think of, an ethereal place filled with heavenly lush green fields and fairies, there lived a demigod that controls every move of the people he takes care of. His name is Lee Minho.

Morning; 5:30 am, Seoul, South Korea

Fresh morning air blew the spring leaves, flowers falling down from blossom trees, until morning where sun shines through the windows of a small room in the city of Seoul, marking a new start of a new day. A boy at the age of 21 wakes up and sets off his phone’s snoozed alarm for the sixth time. Finally trying to wake up, rubbed his face to gain the energy to walk and slipped on his fluffy ferret slippers then walked into the kitchen to find breakfast.

His roommate Seungmin has been awake since early morning, he washed his face and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Just as how handsome his name sounds, he can cook with such beauty and make the food look so delicious. “Hey Hyunjin, you’re finally awake now?” The diligent boy asked. “Heck yeah. I’ve probably been snoozing my alarm for the third time now” Said Hyunjin.

Seungmin cracked up hearing him say snoozing his alarm only for the third time, then corrected him by saying “No bruh it was the legit sixth time you’ve snoozed it.” Hyunjin laughed and sat down with Seungmin on the dining table near the kitchen.

The two boys were so immersed in their delicious breakfast, they forgot that they have a tight schedule for the day. Seungmin, a newly selected member for a famous photography and videography club called “Capture The Moment” is supposed to be arriving at Mount Hallasan today for a national documentary film festival later this summer.

Meanwhile Hyunjin, a normal member of the dance and drama team called “Rhythm Festa”, is going to practice for a performance of an ancient themed drama called “The Puppeteer”. The drama tells the story of an old myth that only people of very old generations knew and believed. The myth still — until now — remains and people who believed in the myth are so aware of what they wish for.

Many people say:

“Be careful of what you wish for.”

This saying turns out to be true. This myth was originally intended to make people to be a good person and have a nice personality. By this, means a good attitude, good heart, and careful in everything they do.

The Puppeteer is apparently a good person, well a demigod actually. He has a nice place to live in, has a good looking appearance, and he also has a kind heart. But lots of people doubted this fact, therefore he became furious about it and he made sure the exact person who doubted him gets a punishment. He is a powerful demigod and he can do whatever he wants to give revenge to his victims. This time, the punishment made him able to control the actions of what the victims are doing, just like how a puppeteer controls their puppets.

A lot of people have made this myth turn into a drama performance just for simple life lessons, this time, Hyunjin is going to perform it with other actors on Korea’s Theatre Fiesta, a big event for South Korea itself. He was eventually excited to work on such an old drama, especially when he had the opportunity to be one of the leading characters, The Puppeteer.

Morning; 9:50 am, The Dormitory.

“Seungmin, are you done doing your hair? It’s been another 30 minutes and you haven’t finished it, holy moly.” Seungmin has been doing his hair for hours now Hyunjin is waiting for him instead of Seungmin waiting for Hyunjin. “I was trying a new style okay, today’s a big day for me as a new photographer and I wanna make sure I make a good impression for the others.” Said Seungmin with an excited tone. “Okay then, let’s goo!”

The two boys are looking fabulous today because they have a lot of new things that are gonna happen that very day. Seungmin has only worn a nice tuxedo once in a while, mostly when events are up. Hyunjin looked at Seungmin in shock. “Ayy, you’ve never worn this one tuxedo in a while, today’s gonna be a big event huh.” Seungmin replied with a laugh and said “Haha, yeah right, this is actually a very old one. I just really wanna wear it today because today I’m meeting the higher level photographers.” Hyunjin giggles while tying his shoelaces.

Hyunjin will be starting practice for the drama today and will be meeting with all the other actors to begin the drama. He wore a simple white t-shirt with black baggy sweatpants. To top all of these off, he added a black bucket hat to make it look stylish. The young man has a great taste in fashion as he fits in all sorts of outfits.

Morning; 10:15 am, road to their destinations.

“Hey Seungmin, you’re heading that way?” Seungmin went to the right while Hyunjin took the road straight. “Well, yeah, I’m going to Hallasan ?” Seungmin answered with a reassuring tone. “Oh yeah, we’ll part here then. See ya tonight, at the usual cafe at 8, okay.” Hyunjin went to inform him again. Seungmin gave him a content smile, “Yeahh, okay. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to that. Bye Hyunniee ! Best of luck with your practice !” Hyunjin replied to him with a sweet and comforting eye smile. The two are now off to their own roads.

Brunch; 11:10 am, Rhythm Festa’s practice room no. 6.

Hyunjin rushed to the building as he was waiting for Seungmin back in the dorm for so long. He ran as fast as he could and ended up being in the practice room at the last minute briefing. Ms Lee, the club’s most beautiful and talented instructor, saw Hyunjin rushing from the 5th floor window. Hyunjin was sweating everywhere. Ms Lee gave him some tolerance and did another short round of briefing on the drama plots.

“You know what you’re going to do right Hyunjin?” Asked Ms Lee to make sure. “Yeah, I do. I’m the lead character that is in charge of making the drama more fabulous.” Hyunjin flipped his hair back with a nagging tone. Ms Lee gave a small laugh. “Haha, cool then. Let’s all get started on the setting shall we? C’mon over here let’s give this practice a good cheer !” The actors and actresses, including Hyunjin shouted in excitement. “Go go Rhythm Festa, kill the stage !”

“Hyunnie, you should be practicing your lines right now, right? You are the main character and look at your script. It’s 7 pages long, you sure you’re able to memorise them all?” Ms Lee wasn’t so sure about Hyunjin handling the 7 page script. He was just a member of the team for 7 months and hasn’t been doing any drama performances. He’s closer with his dancing career other than the actor one. Hyunjin exclaimed “Of course I can. I don’t want to miss a chance to become one of the lead roles. Besides what can go wrong? It’s not like I’m that bad at memorising things.” Ms Lee, though still quite unsure, nodded her head. “Alright Hyunnie, I’m placing my trust on you as a lead role. This performance is very important. You get me right, I don’t want anything to be messed up.” Hyunjin made sure he gave Ms Lee the trust he was given.

Afternoon; 13:30 pm, Rhythm Festa building

The Rhythm Festa’s building is quite extravagant. Consisting of 11 floors with an elegant cafeteria and retro-ish style furnishings, one meeting room and lots of practice rooms for the to freely use. Hyunjin went to the 7th floor looking for a vacant practice room. After minutes of searching through the 7th floor, he found one. Practice room no. 25, located at the end of the hallway, the biggest practice room on the 7th floor.

Hyunjin, who is holding the script, went in without any hesitation. He settled himself on the wooden floor with his trusty water bottle and the stack of paper in front of him. He started to flip over the pages and focusing on practicing each lines.

“No dear servant, I would like some peace for now. These humans are giving me a headache.”

Hyunjin read the line, scrunching his eyebrows. “Sheesh, what is this demigod? He's so pompous. Does he think that he’s the best being on the planet and never makes any mistakes or what?” He keeps complaining again and again.

The Sky; 13:45 pm, Minho’s palace.

“Argh this is giving me a headache ! Why are human beings like this??” Minho growled in frustration. Minho is a controller for 5 people on Earth now, this has happened since the first person who doubted him on 1985.

“Maybe it’s beca—“

“SILENCE!” Minho shouted before the servant has even said anything.

“Argh !!” Minho growled again, something else is wrong. “Bring me a pack of ice. My head feels like it’s going to burn anytime soon.”

The servant came in with what Minho told him to bring. “Here, Master.”

Minho grabbed the ice pack and placed it on his forehead. “It’s not helping. Someone is doubting my character again. Bring me the Black Globe, I’ll see who it is.” Said he in a cold manner.

“Here’s the Black Globe, Master.” The servant gave him the Globe and sat near the wall of Minho’s chamber.

Minho gave the Globe a swipe and sprinkled it with fairy dust. “Black Globe, tell me who, tell me, who has doubted me.” The Globe then shone for a millisecond and showed Minho Hyunjin, the boy who is in a practice room doing his task.

Minho gasped. “Why would someone doubt me while reading a script?” He then gave the Globe another swipe to see from a different perspective. There, he saw Hyunjin practicing lines for The Puppeteer drama. “This is it. Why I would never want someone on Earth to make such ridiculous drama performances about me. Okay, this is settled. Black Globe, I’ll send you down to Earth, haunt this boy and send him the message you used for any other beings you dealt with.”

The Black Globe went on. Down to Earth, through the streets of Seoul, finding and locating Hyunjin.

Afternoon; 14:00 pm, Rhythm Festa building, practice room no. 25.

Hyunjin stretched his limbs after sitting down for 15 minutes of practicing his lines. He saw a black flying object near the exit. He panicked and screamed his lungs out. The object went closer, and closer to him. Hyunjin continued to scream and at last, the object struck him.

His surroundings went dark. He opened his eyes to look around. “Where am I??” He screamed in vain, hoping someone would reply. “Hello there.” A deep and devilish voice could be heard. Hyunjin screeched hearing the voice. “I see you’ve talked about me some seconds ago. Welcome to the Globe. This is Minho, yes, The Puppeteer everyone in the young generation is frightened of.” The voice went on. “Now, you dear small boy, is going to face the consequences for talking about my bad side.”

“Wait, no. No, I have more things to do. Just let me go !” Hyunjin shouted in agony.

“A deal is a deal, boy. You know what you’re going to face, right? Yes, I will be controlling your moves from now on. Say bye bye to your enjoyable life. Welcome to the Puppeteer life.” Minho said in a teasing devilish tone.

“NO!”
