My name is Olivia! I can also go by Liv, Livi, or Olive. My professor calls me, “Big O.” You can really call me whatever you feel like, honestly. 🤷🏻‍♀

As an active member of this community, I am always checking up on the latest posts and whatnot during my spare time.

I am active 7 days a week, and I would say I am online for about 1-3 total hours a day on average, depending on my schedule. Typically, I am most active in the morning and at night, while checking in frequently throughout the day.

:seedling: Why I Want to be a Curator:

I ed this Amino back in March, and I’ve loved getting to know such a friendly and positive community! I’ve met so many wonderful people, and I’ve been able to freely express my love for the Studio Ghibli films!

I want to be a curator for the same reason I became a member of the Challenge and Welcoming Committees: to be an important part in keeping Studio Ghibli Amino a comfortable and fun place for everyone! My goal has always been to make sure others are enjoying this community as much as I am, if not more! :relaxed:

:seedling: Suggestions on How to Improve Activity in the Community:

To improve activity in our community, here are a few suggestions:

• Mini-challenges: Smaller challenges to go on while the main challenges are going. These mini-challenges wouldn’t have a “winner,” and would be overall much more simple to accomplish. This would eventually encourage people to feel more comfortable posting for the bigger challenges, and ultimately increase activity!

• Scheduled Movie Times: I think it would help the community a lot to be able to watch movies together! We could host it on rabb.it (an easy-to-use streaming site), or a screening room on here (though I’m not super familiar with how that works yet). Anyone can , and it would be another way for people to become more comfortable in our community!

• More Rewards in general: Possibly for reaching a certain rank; for completing the 30 Day Challenge; for keeping your weekly activity within the top 3 on the scoreboard for a certain amount of time.

These suggestions might be a little far-fetched, but I think they could really help increase the activity in this community!

A good leader/curator should be (no particular order):

• Friendly

• Genuine

• Strong-minded

• Understanding

• Organized

• Skilled with Time-management

These are only a few, but I believe these qualities are of the most important. :blush:
