Hello Ghibli community, and it’s that time of the month to give a spotlight to a post from a great writer. I’ve seen some really good posts that I enjoyed looking through, and the one I decided to share for this month’s post is ”Songs for Ghibli Characters” by Gracenin!

In this wonderful post from a great member, Gracenin talks about what songs would match various characters from Studio Ghibli. It’s great to see a variety of songs that would go nicely with these memorable characters. It’s this simple and fun idea that gets the spotlight for the month.

☘DID YOU KNOW?☘

hiii. Here’s some did you know about the philosophy of Studio Ghibli.

1. Shinto, Bhuddist and Daoist themes shine through many of Miyazaki’s films.

2. Shinto is an animalistic religion which means to say that it believes the natural world is inhabited by spirits. This can be seen in movies such as Spirited Away and Princess Monoke.

3.These spirits called Kami, through Shinto history and even now, are being discovered and worshiped.

4. Miyazaki used the religions Shinto and Buddhism for a deeper relationship between humans nature and spirits.
