Changing up your Handwriting

Ever feel unsatisfied with your handwriting and despise the way it looks? Yeah? I do too lol, my handwriting looks like chicken scratch. Still does to be honest, but compared to before, not so much. So here I am dropping some tips and some great font I use to help me with improving my handwriting skills!

This will be like a short guide on what I do take initiative on improving my penmanship for the better so i can take better notes to enjoy looking at and actually motivates me to study through. I recommend getting inspired by beautiful notes taken by students from studyblrs or even on amino to motivate you to improve your writing style as well.

One of my tips for you is to find fonts you like that are usually something you can reprint and use to practice and customize yourself with. This way you have ground on a neat style you like that you would enjoy having as your handwriting. I recommend looking for realistic types of fonts that look like something that looks like something you see people write on paper.

Here are some of my recommendations of fonts you should get! Note: I am the type who likes to write in clear print so these will be print style recommendations I use and maybe a couple cursive styles I am interested in learning how to write. Otherwise, most of these recommendations will be in print style.

Of course to start practicing your handwriting you will need to have your supplies! What type of items that you need to practice do not have to be the great of the great, anything works and it can be from something cheap to something extravagant. What matters is you actually practice and want to change your penmanship.

Different pens do leave different results on paper. There are different types of pens you could choose from to write with such as ballpoint pens, gel pens, fine liners, roller ball pens, and more! The ones that I often use are:

Once you chose your fonts and picked your pens, make your practice sheets! You can make your sheets easily through any word document ed format. This includes Microsoft word or a Google Docs document, whichever you prefer.

Simply type up the letters numerous times in uppercase and lowercase, adding numbers, and as well as typing up paragraphs for advanced practice to fully ground in the handwriting style for you to practice with. Print these sheets and then get to practicing! I recommend making the text font colors a light grey so they are faded and visible but clear when you begin to write over them!

Now all you need left is to be persistent! Do not give up and practice hard! With more and more practice you will get your penmanship where you want it to be in no time! It can be tricky though and you might not get the results you want, but do not give up! These steps should help with improving your normal handwriting to get it where you want it at best!
