Curator Applications!

Hello, everybody! It’s Akina here today with some very exciting news!

The leadership team is seeking out new ! You’ve heard it right! From today,  ve’ve opened up our curator applications.

Curators are of our Leadership Team.

Curators assist with day to day moderation tasks, such as featuring/disabling posts, answering ’ questions, moderating chatrooms, and so much more!

Curators also help create challenges for the community, assist with Q&A’s, official teams, and community updates!

Being a curator comes with a lot of responsibilities, so we have high standards for what we expect of you.

As a result, we expect that you…

+    Understand and are familiar with our [Guidelines];

+    Know your way around the Studying Amino community;

+    Are mature;

+    Will act objectively and without bias;

+    Will be able to answer ’ questions and

help them effectively and efficiently with

little to no assistance;

+    Are friendly and kind to all ,

no matter the circumstances;

+    Are able to work in a team, because

you will be interacting with the

rest of the leadership team along

with thousands of monthly ;

+    Are very active. We do, however

recognize that everybody has a life

outside of Amino, so it’s okay

to be less active sometimes.

If you cannot offer these things, please reconsider applying to our team.

You must be at least 13 years of age.

The Amino app is officially for s aged 13 or older, regardless of parent permission. For this reason, we ask that all applicants are aged 13 years or older.

You must be at least level 9.

This shows us that you know your way around the community pretty well, and are ionate about your time here!

You must understand our [Guidelines].

You will be working with our [Guidelines] every single day, so you are required to understand them. Along with this, we ask that you’ll be able to talk about it and use it effectively with little to no assistance.

You must have a basic understanding of the English language.

Studying Amino is a community listed in English. As a result, our team’s primary language is English. We ask that applicants are fluent enough to be able to hold conversations in English.

When will applications close?

Applications will close on February 20th, at 15:00 EST.

How many people are you looking for?

The amount of applicants we accept depends on the amount and quality of applications received.

How do I get the link to my profile?

In the top right corner of your “me” page, there will be three white dots in a horizontal line. Hit “Copy Link” to copy your profile’s link.

How can I find my weekly activity?

Under the achievements section of your profile. It’s the same box that displays your checkin streak!

How can I convert my timezone into GMT or UTC format?

Visit worldtimebuddy to easily convert your timezone into the UTC format! Your home time zone should appear at the top, and then you just look for "London" (which is UTC 0). If it says +6 for London, your time zone is UTC-6:00. If it says -6, your time zone is UTC+6:00

Can I submit more than one application?

Please fill out your application carefully to avoid having to make any changes, or submitting more than one application. If you need to make changes to your application, please privately message Akina.

When/how will I find out if I was accepted?

We cannot give you an exact date yet that you will find out whether or not you were accepted.

Applicants who were accepted will be privately messaged. Shortly after all accepted applicants accept or reject their role, an announcement post will be made.

How do I know that you got my application?

After submitting your application, you should get a confirmation page that says thank you. If you did not receive this screen, please PM Akina, Ellie or Cordelia BEFORE submitting another application.
