dealing with rude people ♡

long time no see? nearly two weeks since i last posted :') ive really had no idea what to post. so heres me poking my head out of the hole ive buried for myself. hi guys!

you know those weirdly nasty people you get at school? yeah. those. in this blog im going to talk about how to deal with their annoying 'selves' :'). me being from the uk, ive dealt with my fair share of nasty teenagers. lets get onto it!

𝟎𝟏 : 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬

im guessing, that the people who are acting so immaturely are teenagers. teenage boys maybe? just a thought. before acting on anything, putting it into the context that they are going through a lot in their heads and with the chemicals in their body, will help a lot. as we're starting to get into adulthood, obviously our moods can start to jump and dive all over the place, and sometimes that can affect the way we act. if they are upsetting you, try not to take it too personally; if they could understand how they were making you feel im sure they would stop. girls also do mature faster than boys mentally, so if a boy is being childish, they are probably acting the way you did when you were 10.

after the first step, try and think why they do it. being a teenager is a factor, but mostly down to the following;

↳ they want attention

↳ they find it funny

↳ their friends are making them do it

↳ they are just a really bad person

all of these have something in common.

its. down. to. them.

its not your fault, all of them probably have issues at home or with their friends. they feel the need to pick on/bother other people because of their own insecurities. sounds very cliché, but its true. every nasty person is facing something themselves, trouble is they dont know how to cope with it.

𝟎𝟑 : 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲

know that you are in control of the situation. you have so many options and different ways to deal with these types of people. give them exactly the opposite of what they want. they need attention? ignore them! they think that youre a bad person? prove them wrong! try to avoid them, and if its bothering you so much please do tell someone you trust. whether it be a teacher, sibling or a parent, they can probably do something.

if you are getting picked on, please know that you arent alone. never change for anyone, you are amazing and unique and so wonderfully you. if you ever need to talk to anyone and get things off your chest, my DMs are always open for a chat :) x
