One of the main issues I've experienced

during my   years in life,   is   about getting

things done.   I   honestly   find this such a

challenge to overcome, and as years go by

it only gets bigger of a problem. So, within

3 months, I decided that that must change,

And so, I started changing my routine, little

by   little. From what I've   learned,   these

are a few advisable tips that definitely help

and are very helpful to people like me, who

over think so much and end up not doing

One of the many issues a lot of people

have, is thinking. For example, when

you   really plan things through (and I

mean, spend 10 - 30 minutes making

a plan), your brain sorta already gets

the satisfaction that it was supposed

to   get     from     going     those things.

Stop   stopping, get yourself moving.

I often get lost   in   my   thoughts, i

start   wondering a lot of insignificant

things     when      doing      productive

chores,    and   I   end   up   distracting

myself. Whenever you want   to   get

things done; fill   your   mind   of only

doing that one thing. Keep a notepad

beside you, so if your mind wanders

somewhere   else,    you   write   down

whatever it is you were thinking. You

must    let    yourself     be    absolutely

immersed   in     what     you're    doing,

whether it   be   washing   the   dishes,

doing      your     homework     studying,

anything     that     requires    your    full

concentration.

Whenever I wander a bit too much, if

the sight of a cellphone comes to my

view, it's all   over for me. Cellphones

are just so distracting, and so many

people are becoming addicted. Just

leave your phone out of your hands

and out of your sight. If you want to

listen to music, buy an mp3 player

or leave your spotify   playing   in   a

Bluetooth speaker.

To label out exactly what you have to

do for the day helps a lot, because

then you think about what chores you

have to be doing. Before, when I was

talking about the whole "Don't think,

just   do",   when   doing   things,   you

should have this plan, this thought-out

plan that takes a few seconds to write

down, and that's what we're looking

for:   simplicity.   You   have   to   have

simplicity when overcoming laziness,

because when   you have so   much

stuff to do, you need to   be   simple

and then you won't get a slump that

comes after looking at so much stuff.

So; when making a plan, you have to

be simple and you have to label out

exactly the core things you want to

acomplish that day

"When you are   lazy, you are wasting

time". That's the number one rule that

you should be thinking about when

actually contemplating the chance of

being lazy. When you are lazy, you are

kind of wasting time. When you are in

leisure time, you are not being lazy.

Leisure =/= Lazy, ok? There's time for

leisure and there's time for productive

ness. But when you have to tell apart

leisure from laziness, laziness is when

you're supposed to be   doing things,

and not doing them. That's when I'm

reffering to   when   I'm   saying you're

wasting time. But when you're taking

leisure time, that is time for YOU. That

is   actually productive time because

you're giving yourself time to breathe,

time to cut you some slack, you know?

So, when contemplating your laziness,

you should   always think about your

future, your career, your goals in life,

those things   that   keep you moving.

What gives you the need of getting out

your bed and actually   doing   things.

And when you have this goal set, you

just have   to   move   and never stop

moving. When   you pick up that pen

from your desk, you keep moving that

mf pen, ok? So, when you think about

doing your bed or washing the dishes,

TAKE THEM DISHES AND DON'T STOP

MOVING THEM   DISHES.    When you

need   to scrub, you scrub. When you

need to set    them   aside,   set   them

aside, AND THAT'S THE ONLY   THING

IN YOUR MIND. You have to be... not a

machine,   but you have to have that

objetive    in   your    mind,    to    totally

complete, you know? Because,   when

you're   like me, you over think things.

You get so distrated,   you often slow

down or completely stop doing things,

and   go    to    your   cellphone   or    go

anywhere   else that distracts you from

the thing you're supposed to be doing.

After you contemplate your laziness,

you'll be thankful for yourself because

you're actually thinking "Well, tomorrow

my bed will be undone, the dishes will

be unwashed   and everything will be a

chaos,   everything   will   be a   mess".

That is one of the things you want to

avoid,   y'know?   That   is   one   of my

dreadful nightmares. After 9 days of

not washing the dishes, the   dishes

were like a fungi paradise, everything

was absolutly disgusting. So after you

are   done    with   these    things,    you

contemplate    your      laziness     from

before,   contemplate the fact that you

were lazy before, and compare it to

how productive you are now. And that

will make you feel good about yourself

and it will essentially stop you   from

being    lazy     in     the      near    future.
