1- masha and the bear :bear: :

This is a great cartoon, fun to watch and teaches a lil Russian :)

2- Кухня (Kitchen)

If you want to learn Russian and enjoy with excellent humor in a pleasant atmosphere at the same time, look for this sitcom. There are more than 100 episodes which are situated in a restaurant kitchen. You will meet Maksim “Max” Lavrov who wants to become a great chef. But, in a restaurant “Claude Monet” the kitchen isn’t the place for a smooth career.

What will you learn?

The actors speak pretty clearly, and vocabulary is not too advanced. It is a good show for all learners, regardless of the level of language skills. I highly recommend this series for beginners. Among other new words, you will learn a lot of related to cooking and food.

1- learn the alphabet :

Honestly, the first thing you should start with is learning the alphabet so u can read words easily, the alphabet is not that complicated, there are many videos that help u learn the alphabet with the correct pronunciation . So that’s your first step .

:cloud: тιp : I recommend after learning the alphabet to try and read a paragraph every day to get used to reading in Russian .

2- basic introduction :

I think knowing basics is necessary to tackle later on the more challenging parts , so after learning the alphabet , learning vocabulary while building a strong reading and writing ✍ base is important ( you can learn how to say hi :wave: and bye , introduce yourself, your age , name , where are you from ... )

I find Pinterest helpful in small vocabulary like this :)

3- importance of practicing daily:

This is a must to any language learner , daily practice makes u not forget things which is our goal ^^ so I would say make a schedule every week , learn 4 - 5 new words each day and do 1-2 grammar points .

This is how I would do it :

• MONDAY :

- learn 5 vocabulary words ( use quizlet or Tinycards)

- learn a grammar lesson

- memorize vocabulary of “the family”

- watch an episode of a current Russian serie

• TUESDAY :

- learn 5 vocabulary words

- learn 2 grammar lessons

- practice in Duolingo

-watch an episode of“masha and the bear :bear: ”

Etc...

- build a routine that suits you and the way you learn <3

🇬​🇪​🇳​🇪​🇷​🇦​🇱​ 🇹​🇮​🇵s ​ :

- What I do is memorize vocabulary early morning cause that’s when our memory gets more information in the brain 🧠 and grammar lessons threw out the day or at night 🌙with a great snack .

- to keep yourself motivated think of your goal and think of how happy :smiley: you will be if you were fluent in Russian, that will help motivate you to try and work hard to achieve your goal .
