hello hello ^^

welcome to my response to the #gratefulchallenge ! given that i live in a country that celebrates a holiday about giving thanks, i figured it would be a bit odd if i didn't participate in this new challenge.

i hope you enjoy this blog! maybe we have similar things to be grateful for :) happy thanksgiving to all who celebrate!

i am ridiculously lucky to have a group of friends that i can trust and rely on like a second family, and make wonderful memories with. i'm so grateful that i met them, and i can't imagine what my life would look like otherwise.

of course, thanksgiving isn't really complete if i don't spend it with my family. i am forever grateful for the opportunities, care, and they have given me so that i can become the best version of myself. i'm also very lucky to have a good family, so i'm thankful for that aspect of it too.

as a musician and artist, i can't imagine life without the fine arts. the world we live in would be so much more bland, with less color and sound and dance and everything in between. not only am i grateful for its existence, but also for my ability to create it myself. it's one of those gifts where i'm not sure where it came from, but i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

knowledge and being able to look for it is something i think many take for granted. having the ability to go to the library, to search for whatever information i wish, to attend classes i enjoy are all things i'm so grateful to have. going through life without the majority of my knowledge from school would be difficult.

i'm also grateful for my home.

i have a place to sleep, to be safe, to eat, to practice my activities, and live my life as i choose. this is a lucky thing to have, so i make sure to be thankful and not take it for granted.
