Study Music: Professor Layton #2

Hi all!

With the new Layton game starring Layton's daughter that came out a few days ago (!!! Although I have to wait until it releases in Europe T.T), I decided to make another post about the music from one of my favourite game series.

As you could've seen from the picture, this blog is about puzzles! Each game has a different track that plays when solving puzzles and they all have their distinct sounds. They work like a charm for me, so I hope they do for you too!

The reason why I'm sharing these particular tracks is because they're made to keep you concentrated. Solving puzzles is pretty much the same as making your homework, so they're perfect to use as background music!

Puzzles

The classic from the very first game, The Curious Village. I like this one the most for just making homework. It's very calming unlike some of the others, but I'll get to those later!

Puzzles Remixed

This one is from the second game, The Diabolical Box (also known as Pandora's Box). It sounds a lot like the first one, but has some changes.

I'm no music expert so I'm just stating what I hear, but there are more higher tones in the background, also the middle part is different and, uh, just listen to it yourself and see which you like the best!

Puzzles Reinvented

Guess what, this one's from the third game, called The Unwound Future (also known as The Lost Future), and this one is completely different from the first two.

This one has a more mysterious vibe. This one could be nice when you just need to think, for example when writing an essay.

More puzzles

Continuing with the second trilogy, this one is from The Last Specter (also known as The Spectre's Call). This one is just as mysterious as the previous one, but less nerve-wracking. See which you like best!

Puzzles Reinvented 2

Also known as Puzzles Abound, this one is from The Miracle Mask. This one is awful but great at the same time. I get very nervous listening to this, it makes me feel like I have a set amount of time to do things. Play this when you have an important assignment that needs to be finished the next day!

Puzzles Abroad

This one is from The Azran Legacy, and is way calmer than the previous one. Play this when you have plenty of time to finish your assignments.

Bonus: No Puzzle Unsolved

This song is amazing. It's a remix between the puzzle theme of The Diabolical Box and the main theme of Assassin's Creed 2 and I'm very much in love. Go listen!
