Summer Goals

Hello hello! I saw another on here post their goals for the summer and I thought it was a great idea, so I wanted to do the same.

Goal 1 • Read More

I have at least 15 books that I would like to read this summer. I finished one (The Silent Patient) but haven't picked up another book since. I'm way too addicted to my phone and I need to break out of that and get reading.

Goal 2 • Research

I got accepted for a $5000 Summer research grant. This means I get to complete a research project over the course of this summer and will get paid to do so. (The research may even end up published.) I'm conducting a meta-analysis on the prevalence of Co-Morbidies with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Stay tuned for additional updates.

Goal 3 • The Timothy Initiative

The Timothy Initiative is a Christian organization that trains disciples (followers of Jesus) to become disciple makers (people who share their faith). This Summer, I am participating in a TTI training center at my home church, and am being held able to weekly challenges and goals along the way.

Goal 4 • Publish Music

I have been very active on Songwriter Amino recently, writing songs for an album I'm working on called Childhood. I would like to release some of these songs (for the first time ever) and post music videos to YouTube.

Goal 5 • New Training at Work

I currently work as a cashier, but I'm hoping that over the course of this summer I can learn a different position at my Grocery Store job.
