So there's probably no real answer to this, but I thought I'd see what others think.
So since, for some reason, males in the butterfly bloodline can't get the butterfly form I've thought about ways around that so Sun can have it and the idea I have is Sun absorbing a lot of magic.
Do you think that could like push someone like Sun or Jushtin into getting the form? Like a push past their limits moments.
My thought is an adventure Sun has, which involves a big fight between him and Aidan, (who's going though some stuff) in the realm of magic or the Father Time dimension leads to basically the Multiverse to start breaking so to save it Sun uses a spell that let's him call on the other alive Butterfly's but since he's in a place that connects to other dimensions he calls on all butterfly's through the Multiverse and ask for their magic to help and basically he absorbs a lot of magic which is body can't fully handle but he refuses to give up and that pushes him into getting the Butterfly form.
Just an idea I had that I wanted to see what others thought of.
