General Information

Princess Deneb the Adventurous is the younger daughter of Whisper Butterfly and her husband Halef. After the disappearance of the former and the demise of the latter, she was raised by her older sister, Queen Wega, and is officially considered her heir.

Magic Abilities

Although Deneb is probably not the strongest Butterfly, she is pretty capable and far more experienced with her wand than most, due to getting it so early. She loves experimenting with magic and creating new spells. Most of them revolve around colours or light.

Deneb got the wand at the age of four after Wega refused to use it any longer. It changed its appearance twice: It was roundish and wing-less at first, but changed when she turned six, getting small wings. It took its final form when she turned eleven, with longer sharper wings, bright blue (almost white), and a four-tipped golden star in the centre.

Personality

Deneb is curious, fun-loving and wild, with an upbeat personality and a tendency to be quite stubborn. She dislikes rules and restrictions she doesn't see the point of, probably since her sister was only strict in certain aspects she considers necessary for a Mewman Princess. Wega raised her to have excellent manners (she tends to tune them down a lot unless she feels they are required), to use her mind (which she does, but once she reaches a decision it's hard to convince her otherwise), as well as to appear strong and confident in front of both her enemies and her people, even if she doesn't feel like it at all (friends and family excluded).

On the other hand Deneb is slow to trust others and prefers to have only a small circle of good friends, rather than a big group. She adores her sister and is honestly concerned about the day Wega ceases to be Queen and she has to fill in, not because she doesn't want the responsibility, but rather because she doubts she'll be able to be as good as Wega is at ruling.

When she is not learning from her sister, Deneb enjoys dancing, exploring all sorts of places and going on every kind of adventure. Her favourite type is time travel with her close friend David; it's always something different and exciting, and since they are just getting the hang of it, surprising too.
