I walked all the way to target just to pick up the target exclusive version of Lover. Initially I got only the version 3, but I had slowly collected all 4 versions in the following year.(before covid)

Somehow thinking about it today and on Lover release anniversary a few days ago triggered so much memories. I really like the theme and aesthetics of this short lived era. I think songs like Paper Rings and Cornelia Street really represent this era. Lover may not be my favorite(although I do love it), I have so much good memories associate with it. One been moving out of my parents house and into college dorm, and it was my first time experiencing the whole album release process as a Swiftie.(I wasn't as active and aware of fandom events back in the Rep era.) I had a high hope for the following 4 years (and been away from my family for the first time :joy: ) combining that with the sunshine, upbeat summer theme of Lover era and the fact that Taylor was returning to the public created so much good memories from 2019 and early 2020.
Also, you can check out my original post I did on that day!
Long Live Swifties!
