It's been 5 years(2019) since the release of the music video, released three days after the release of the song. This music video is new for Taylor and the fandom in so many ways. It's her first music video filled with political messages. It's Taylor's way of announcing to the world that she is no longer afraid of public criticism. It's the music video where Taylor publicly announced her reconciliation with Katy Perry. It's also the first music video Taylor co-directed. Although this is not the first time Taylor packed her music video with famous people(that title goes to Bad Blood), it is the first time she turned all those people (and basically everything) into Easter Eggs.
Long Live Swifties and happy 5 years of this music video!
