not Slytherin, eh? better be...

Look. My essay is not exactly poetic, or inspiring. It's not like other ones I have seen, where the writers discuss important subjects about Taylor in our world today. It's just the first thing I thought of, and I guess I'm ionate about it. This is like a fun topic that I take way too seriously. You have been warned.

For nearly half my life, the workings of J.K. Rowling has been something I have thought about everyday. She created a whole world for me to imagine and pretty much worship. The feeling of magic is locked safely inside every book, but I always seem to find a way to bring that magic into other topics. Specifically Taylor Swift.

The topic of Hogwarts houses has been widely spoken about. If any of you don't know, Hogwarts is a school of witchcraft and wizardry. At this school, there are four houses. These houses are kind of like a family; you go to classes with your house, hang out in the common room of your house, and so on. The four houses are Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor. Each house values different traits.

Taylor has gotten her letter, and it's time for the sorting. What house will the sorting hat place Taylor in?

I have done some research, and I very popular idea is that she is a Slytherin. Mostly because she is cunning, ambitious, and good business woman, but she's still a "bean" who likes snakes. And I can understand that. Except I have to disagree.

Taylor swift is hardworking. I know you're probably thinking "well duh". But she does so much. She is constantly traveling because of the tour. She is making business deals, creating events, and forming partnerships with other companies. She is the mastermind behind every big decision. Taylor is also constantly writing, and having to prepare for the next era of her life months and months in advance. She has to be ready to suddenly change her show out of nowhere, in case there's a special guest or an issue of some sort. She learns and re all the choreo, which she performs while running around the huge stages so many times. Plus, Taylor is doing so much to meet us, including meet and greets before and after the show, as well as random secret events. And she does this all at the same time.

She's kind. So, so, so kind. If you need statistics on how kind she is, just look up how many fans she has met this era. It's unreal. No matter she does, she always goes out of her way to make it exceptional for all of her fans, while taking so much time to meet us all. Plus, she is so caring for the people she surrounds herself with, and she speaks so highly of her friends and family. She never wants to ever hurt anyone, she just gets thrown into bad situations a lot.

She's loyal. Her fans, friends, and family mean so much to her. I can't really imagine her ever not being there for someone in their time of need. She s, laughs with, and fights for the people she loves. She understands what we and her family have done to get her where she is, and she is spending every single day to try and pay us back. She'll never leave, just like we never left.

She's dedicated. Ever since the beggining her ion has been writing. Her free time was spent writing the lyrics to songs that speak about her emotions. And ever since her first song, this hasn't changed. She puts so much effort into her music, and her career. She never stops writing. Taylor has said that no matter what she does, she will give it her all (in one sense or another).

She's badass. She has so much skill, and class to go along with it. I can't even put it into words how badass she is. Her style, her remarks, her way she handles everything with such extravagant ease. The fact that she also is so chill in real life just tells you how badass she is. "Yeah, I just performed a incredible show filled with fireworks and dancing and whatever for 70,000 people. Now I'm going to go hang out with my cats." I mean, I don't think anybody else can say that.

She's soft. Taylor is the epitome of laughter and sarcastic comments and sweaters and dorkiness. The love she shares with us, the way she calls everyone "buddy". Her lyrics, which describe love so perfectly. Her constant videos of her cats. Her sometimes messy curly blonde hair. She is so soft.

And now....what house am I talking about? What house includes the traits hard working, kind, loyal, dedicated, badass, and soft?

It better be....Hufflepuff!

If any of you roll your eyes and think "Hufflepuff? really? the nice house?" then I'm never talking to you again. They are so much more than that. They just aren't as problematic as the other houses. And the least amount of dark wizards came out of that house. Which means Hufflepuffs are decent human beings.

Still don't believe me? Well, let's look at some of the other Hufflepuffs we know.

Cedric Diggory. Quidditch captain, Prefect, exceptionally handsome, and a champion of the triwizard tournament. There is so much to be proud of. And yet Cedric is humble, kind, and always wants things to be fair. Nymphadora Tonks. Brave, stubborn, and filled with so much life and humor. She was a big part of defeating Voldemort. Newt Scamander. So ionate, brave, and loving towards all creatures. Also quite soft. And incredible. Yeah, I kinda got a crush on him. Oh well.

My point is, Hufflepuffs are exceptional, and that's the house Taylor belongs in. Case closed. Thank you for your time.
