Why I'm Discontinuing Haunted

I haven't updated it in over a year. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing it. There’s actually a lot of reasons why.

1. Senior

I’m a college senior so I have a thesis (ew) to write and do research for. Not only that, but I also, unfortunately, might be taking four, yes four, english classes in the spring which are all required for my major.

2. Publishing

It’s not a secret that I love reading and writing. But because of that, I really want to get published some day and I feel like Haunted could have potential for publication. A publishing company isn’t going to take it if it’s published elsewhere, ie online. Literary journals even specify it can’t be published elsewhere other than there journal.

3. World/Characters

I love the world I created but if I’m being honest? I don’t love the fact that it’s fanfiction. I enjoy reading it but I think I’m leaning away from writing it. I used fanfiction as a way to create characters without actually creating a character.

I’ll leave the chapters up, which can be read in the wiki, but I won’t be updating it anymore.
