why i’m thankful for reputation. (#Taysgiving2019 day 1)

we all have an album that speaks to us the most. whether it’s because we relate to it or it has a special meaning to us. that for me i must say it’s reputation. no matter what albums Taylor releases next, reputation will be my favorite one.

the biggest reason why this is closest to my heart is that the lead single was the reason i ed into this loving family! i the day it came out and me and my best friend were listening to it and screaming along the lyrics. she told me all the secret meanings behind it as she was already a swiftie. she told me the reason she went on break and out of spotlight. she told me about Joe and i quote, “Joe a literal angel!” and somehow i just realized what an incredible she was and i was just like “yeah, i need to this squad!” and i did!

reputation has a dark aesthetic/theme to it as you already know. and that’s my style. i prefer the dark rather than light. i hate the sun and everything with it. and i relate to the era a lot and i have a special bond with each of the songs.

reputation helped me a lot with every problem i had. whether it was a bad day at school or i got into a fight with one of my friends i knew that when i would go home i would just lie in bed and listen to reputation. it made all my troubles and worries go away for that moment. it gave me a world to jump into while reality was chaos.

this album made me realize the importance of friends and how they true ones will stick with you and how if they’re toxic you need to get rid of them.

and what i’m trying to say is that i’m incredibly thankful for this album and i don’t know who i would be without it. i’m really grateful that Taylor created this masterpiece. it has helped a lot of people, not just me, with life and the struggles it gives us.
