Hello, as a follow up to my fellow curator, Scourge's post I am here to explain once and for all how to follow our rules on posting art and original creations.

As they said, a lack of signatures (and an increasing amount of posts we've had to disable for art theft) has brought us to remind you of the rules that were in place. We had become lenient, but that leniency resulted in us having to constantly people asking for signatures to be added, which takes a toll on us and you, our . You see, we want to associate with you positively and as friends, but when over 50% of our interaction is forced to be reminders for signatures, it does cause issues with connection to our . We can't compliment on the skill because we have to remind instead and it feels like nagging to me, the rest of the mod team, and I'm sure the rest of you as well. And, with an influx in new it's come to our attention that many don't read the rules or don't understand what we mean. I'm here to explain!

On many other aminos, if not all, signatures and proof shots are a requirement and if you don't include them you stand to have your post disabled--or worse if it happens too often. Other aminos just don't allow posts like that to be featured. Either way, it is a vital rule to protect artists, de-stress your leaders and curators and that your art is truly yours. Here's how that will work, and I'll take you through the process showing some of the art I've made for the fairy tail amino I'm on.

When creating your art, do these things to ensure you can post it without any trouble and potentially get featured!

1. Take pictures.

:black_small_square: Working traditionally? Take a few pics of your sketch, lineart and color processes, or different angles of your paper like this. I use a collage app to put all of mine together nicely, but that's not a requirement!

:black_small_square: Working digitally? Take pics the exact same way. (Or post a picture of all your layers.) For example, another one of my pieces from the fairy tail amino!

That's how process shots work, and from now on we MUST see them with signatures, especially for digital art, as signatures can be photoshopped. Without them your post will not have a chance of being featured and will potentially be disabled if your ignore our warnings and rules, which after reading this should be quite clear.

As for signatures, I like to include mine on the actual drawing, but if you're working traditionally you can also sign your name on a separate paper strip and place that on your picture as proof of ownership and a signature. If you're working digitally, just make sure to have a fairly visible signature and explain where it is in the post if it's small or too faint.

And for the last resource for you to use, I've gone in and edited my "Breath of life" art blog and added process shots. It's a good example of what your (and the mods) future art blogs should look like in compliance with our rules. (Unless you send us progress shots privately, but your post should still have a signature.)

If people also feel uncomfortable posting screenshots of progress online (Cause I know some are) please actively send them to one of the mods team to know proof shots are true and not fake or stolen! I know some can be hesitant with that and we just want whats easier!

My problem is that my art is spontaneous. I have to do it all at once otherwise I lose my mojo, so to speak. Plus I do physical art now, not digital

I'm like that too, but as I said in the traditional section you can also post different angle shots of the physical art as well, instead of process shots. Although process shots can be fun to look back on once you get the hang of it

Yeah. I'm doing more Mithridate art of late and I'm trying out some anatomy. The lucky thing is I always wait before I ink my art so I do get a chance to take a progress shot. Multiple angles works too though
