Hey all, Bigg E Cheese here, and I'm here to give you a disclaimer! This is more my opinion, if you think otherwise, than don't try and argue with me. Of course, I will be looking at a couple things here:
1) Controls and how it feels
2) Characters
3) Mechanics/gimics
4) DLC
5) Glitches
6) Fanbase (won't count to overall score)
So let's get into the review!
Controls and how it feels
Tattletail isn't a game without a way to be able to play it. At that point, it's just a video. So how do the controls handle today. Well, it feels pretty nice and organized. You right click to shake the flashlight and use shift to run. W, A, S and D are used to move around. Left click is to use items. If you don't like the controls, the game will open up a settings display and controls before starting, letting you change them to how you like it. But there is one thing that is keeping it from perfect, the delay. Left clicking and right clicking doesn't have much of a delay, but trying to walk, run, jump, or look around has a delay that makes this gameplay experience a bit uncomfortable. You'll get used to it but I think it'd be better to have that patched or fixed.
Overall score: 3.5/5
Characters
There aren't a lot of characters, but there are enough to give it it's own category. We have The Player, Tattletail (comes in 3 different colors and 5 different Tattletails in total), and Mama Tattletail. The characters don't have their own personality or anything but they don't really need to as Tattletail isn't going for some sort of deep lore shit, like FNAF. Honestly, I'm not bothered by it but it doesn't bother some people. In short, the characters do what they need to do to give the player a good experience.
Overall score: 5/5
Mechanics and Gimics
We have some mechanics. Some mechanics are being able to run and jump. (Yes, in video game terminology, running and jumping IS a mechanic and is not needed). Some gimics I think are nice are taking care of Tattletail, the survival aspect, and the noise meter. Taking care of Tattletail is a bit of a pain, especially in scenarios that you need to be quiet. But I think it adds to the fun factor and makes you strategize how you will do. If your strategy fails, that means you die. If it works, you get to progress. The survival aspect doesn't have much but the noise meter is what helps add to strategy. If you make noise, there will be a yellow speaker icon. If you make noise, you will be caught quicker. Now this sounds simple, but letting one of Tattletail's meters go down will cause him to make noise. This, honestly, is clever and forces the play to be more strategic with punishments for trying to dive in head first. Though,
Overall score: 5/5
DLC
There's a DLC to Tattletail that adds 2 major characters, Kaleidoscope Tattletail and letter person. It's alright, basically it's an extension to Tattletail. It's sort of small and basically there if you felt that Tattletail was a but too short. This is probably the shortest here. Also, I can't think of anything else to say.
Overall score: 2.5/5
Glitches
There are not a lot of glitches, but there are some of them that really break the game. If you fall off the map, your game will start to look messed up. I think that happens as the developers didn't set a falling speed limit as you don't usually fall from greate heights. Another glitch is jumping on the dog house. From there, jump on the window thing and jump on the roof. Now you're on the roof! Final glitch, get back on the roof. Now try and find your way to the fence that separates the front and back yard. Jump on there and don't fall of, falling off will soft lock the game as you can't get back to the front yard. Now walk along the fence into the out of bounds. Now you are out of bounds. There will be random hills, the driveway, the smoking house, and falling off the map. These glitches I'll rate based on how fun they are.
Overall score: 4.5/5
In my opinion, Tattletail is a fun game. Though, it does have it's criticisms, it is a really good game. It might not hold up today, but it is a fun little thing if you're looking for something to waste the weekend with.
My overall rating: 7.5/10
Hopefully my opinion won't change how you perceive the game. That is my honest opinion. Continue for extra content.

Extras: The Fanbase
The fanbase is pretty kind. Most of them have their own Tattle OC's and don't really cause much drama. Though, pretty small, it's a really fun place to be in.
