What Happened To The Dwemer

So, I've noticed that the dwemer are a major topic to discuss, so I'm here to talk.

Most of us know what the dwemer are and what happened to them, but where did they go?

I have a few ideas. My first is that they went to a whole new plane of Oblivion, one we've never seen before. That seems slightly logical, but I don't have much to back it up with. My second idea is that they went way forward in time. This has happened before with Alduin and the Elder Scroll, so it is probable that this could've happened to the dwemer as well. My third idea is that they simply went invisible, and were cursed with the inability to interact with the world. We've seen instances of communities disappearing, such as the incident in Aleswell during the Oblivion Crisis, and certain spells and shouts prohibit certain people from interacting with their surroundings, so it may be that the two effects were combined and the spell was cast among the entire dwemer populace. This would explain why the dwarf who was in Oblivion when the dwarves disappeared wasn't affected, because you can't cast spells at someone in another realm (I'm 99% certain that this is true).

Maybe the dwarves just all died, maybe they were sent to an alternate reality, I don't know. But what I do know is that I want to hear your opinion on the matter. Leave a comment down below expressing your thoughts!
