Just a quick advice, this game needs a lot of grinding, and when i mean a lot, i mean A LOT, the main grind you should focuse right now are treasures, the game is quite literally unbeatable (or very very hard) without them, later you can focus on cat fruits and xp , but right now get the treasures (with treasure festival) if you can. Also don't follow any kind of tier list, because they are usually flawed and doesn't give a good explanation of the unit, for example mizli is not a good anti alien because of her kb, but in itf and cotc she's actually really good

Ubers are not super important in the beginning, focus on the super rares, can can, housewife, seafearer, pizza, octopus, fisherman. Rares: cyborg, catsaurus, cameraman, ramen (these names are the true form names). check what they are good against. Grind xp from xp stages only. You need to get the superior treasures but do it only in treasure festivals, else will be super annoying. If there is no festival yo can play some stories of legend and you can get a lot of xp as well

Well, I’ll tell you two things:

1: Battle cats is a grindy game. Without grinding things like treasures, catfruit for true forms, and xp for unit levels, it is very easy to get stuck and unable to progress. Out of everything mentioned above, treasures are most important. It may be extremely tedious to grind, but it’s the only way to progress properly. (And they’re guaranteed to help at every point in the game, so there is no downside to collecting them.

And number 2: Don’t follow the uber tier list. It is a very flawed system and should not be relied upon. If you wish to look for others’ opinions on units, go to the wiki. If you want just raw stats, you could use the wiki or mygamatoto for quick comparisons

Wait your telling me you got 5 ubers before you could level past 10? I didn't get one until well into Eoc 3.

As for tips? Just know that this game, especially later game has a lot of grinding. Things like catfood used to get the elusive true form of most cats, getting exp, just playing through generally easy levels, basically the whole game is a lot of grinding, but it's worth it.

Also, don't always take ubers as the only good cats. Many super rare and rare cats have really good stats and niches that can help a lot. I would recommend trying to upgrade surfer for ITF, as he can basically halt any aliens, stopping them from doing anything.
