I have decided to draw a character that I feel very connected with. So, without further ado, here is my Foxface drawing!
I chose to draw Foxface because of our similarities. We are both very clever (in my opinion) and witty. I have always loved nature and plants. Learning that there was a character in these wonderful books that was pretty close to being the same as me was really cool.
What I also like is the mystery. Heck, we don’t even know Foxface’s real name! (But it might be Finch)She didn’t get too high of a score when it came to training. She really wasn’t a major character, only talked about during specific parts of the arena. Her death was sad, counting that she could’ve had the chance to win the Hunger Games. But, I do it, she only had a slim chance at winning. Cato and Clove could’ve succeeded in killing Katniss and Peeta (or the other way around) and then Foxface would have to battle it out between either two careers or two partners that got scores of 12 and 11 (or at least I think that’s what they got xp) It would have been hard for her to do that so, maybe it’s best she died.
One last thing that I like about her is how she acts. Foxface never killed anyone in the games and I ire that. If she did win, then she would be scarred with the memories of death and blood. It probably would’ve taken forever to get that out of her head. Foxface is swift and clever and that gives her an edge and a good tactic to escape from careers and other tributes. She survived most of the games with her skills and her skills only and the only other possible way was to fight her way out. But her end came whenever she ate those berries. Maybe she wasn’t aware that they were going to kill her.... or maybe she couldn’t bear to cause the death of another tribute.
