Early Life:
Originally hailing from Evalyutor, Eckaz was born into a fairly well-off family. His mother, Alana, was a daughter of the renowned Lord Mikanika. His father, however, had been a poor man who had worked hard, and had successfully become one of Evalyutor's most well-known blacksmiths.
Despite his fairly easy childhood (what with his family being wealthy), Eckaz felt as though he were lacking something. He was a lustrous and greedy figure, always longing for more.
Eckaz's true lust, however, lied in his pursuit of knowledge. The boy began reading, to the point where he would sleep fewer than 4 hours regularly. His memory was astounding, and many called him a genius.
Eckaz's favourite books were those that spoke of legend - myths of great heroes; tales of the incomprehensible beings that have lurked in the shadows since the 'Mystic Times'; rumours of the Gods hiding in and amongst society; surprisingly successful flawed military strategy; and anything in between.
Eckaz's private tutor and parents encouraged him to keep his physical exercise and reading to a balanced level, to which he began listening, and began working hard to ensure he became a very fit, very intelligent individual.
The mass intellect of such a human being grew the attention of higher powers, many of whom became fascinated by the levels of devotion and interest shown by the boy.
In the Pantheon meetings, Yalaver, God of Justice, brought Eckaz into conversation. He suggested that, when of an appropriate age, the boy be tested, and - should he be successful - he be recruited into an army that could fight back the potential threats posed by other realms.
In agreement, it was determined that, on his 19th birthday, Eckaz be awarded an opportunity unlike any other;
The chance to grasp immortality in a way unlike any other - through the Gods themselves.
『"It is to be mentioned that, whilst many may grow... concerned of an impending attack, we may already possess a most valuable asset that could assure our victory: a boy from the nation of Evalyutor, named as Eckaz Vuldern."

Eckaz's 'Building':
On Eckaz's 19th birthday, the Gods gathered upon Mount Lagatia, where they summoned their greatest warriors from across the lands. The event was kept quiet, and, as he prepared to sleep, Eckaz was summoned via teleportation.
Finding himself faced with beings of immense power, at first Eckaz found himself understandably scared. He nervously awaited for them to speak, and sure enough, Terrivi, Goddess of Power, spoke unto him. She greeted him, with;
"Welcome, Eckaz Vuldern. We have been learning of your devotion and intellect for some time now."
She then went on to explain why he had been chosen, why he was needed, and how he would be trialled;
"The deepest pits of Tertennia [the Alvastian Underworld] home some of the most powerful beings in existence. These are being that even we Gods had once struggled to defeat."
Eckaz was then awarded a set of armour and a blade, named "Vik Naltas", or "Blade of Crimson", and told that he were to return the escaped beasts of Tertennia to their places and pits back in Tertennia's depths.
Eckaz had realised that he could not deny such an honour, and thus was sent on his quest. Shortly after embarking, however, Eckaz realised a fatal flaw in his mission: he'd never used a sword before.
Unknowing that the Gods were well aware of this, and were keen in seeing him overcome this hurdle, he began to get a feeling for his newfound blade.
The first real test of his skill came in his encounter with the Periz Beast - A multi-headed humanoid made solidly from stone. After finding it's weakness, Eckaz successfully killed the beast, sending it to the underworld.
Over time, Eckaz grew acquainted to his blade. With each new challenge he faced, his skills grew, and his combat knowledge expanded.
Upon defeating all 8 of the beasts within Alvastus, he was told that he would now have to visit Tertennia, and destroy their escape routes.
Eckaz's only way of getting to Tertennia lied in the hands of suicide, and so he committed honourable suicide to allow for his quest to continue.
『"I have been given a second chance at life...
But no second chance at death."』

Eckaz' Collapse:
Once in Tertinnia, Eckaz's mind began questioning why the Gods - seen as noble and just beings - had basically condemned their chosen subject to death. The Gods had yet to inform Eckaz of the various other realms that existed alongside that of Alvastus, and the figures whom he met whilst travelling through Tertinnia's depths only helped to begin his corruption.
After completing his tasks, the Gods resurrected him as an immortal being. This did not, however, stop Eckaz from thinking about the various misdeeds he'd heard the Gods had done, and he eventually challenged them all. He demanded to know why they had committed such acts, and he found their answers illogical and unsatisfactory. He declared that, until they addressed the immortality of their previous actions he would no longer be associated with them, something which Relank, God of War, did not take kindly to. Relank's aggression resulted in a duel between Relank and Eckaz, where, after many tedious hours, it appeared as though Eckaz was the unsuccessful participant.
In a twist of events, however, Eckaz turned the fight around, and the battle raged on for countless days. The fighting was halted, however, when Relank was summoned by the Gods.
Eckaz then retreated, and sought out a mystical item known as the "Veil of Avinnes", which could make Eckaz untraceable. He was successful in finding it, and the Gods lost track of him.
He then proceeded to roam the lands of Alvastus, doing whatever he deemed just.
『""I am a power of three;
The Gods, The Kings... and the chaos."』
