Welcome to my monthly post of Cert Jacaerys, today I will be showing a few aesthetics made for Jacaerys.

This small aesthetic is for younger Jacaerys, from season one. The velaryon image is meant to represent his surname as despite his bastard birth, he was recognised by Laenor as his own son and given the surname Velaryon, since his bastardy is a major inner conflict for him, it gave me the idea to include it in the aesthetic.

The Green dragon egg is meant to represent Vermax, the dragon that hatched when Jace was nothing but a mere babe and grew alongside him. Despite not looking very Targaryen, Jace’s bond with Vermax really shows he has the Valyrian blood inside him.

This aesthetic is meant to represent Jace in the first episode of season two, the first image is a reference to winterfell where Jacaerys meets the young lord Cregan, hoping to bring him to the cause. This serves as a major important move in the war, which we will see in the later seasons.

The Raven image is a reference to the letter sent to the north, bringing the news of Lucerys’s death which really does play a part in Jace’s arch in season two, we all know how close they were and losing a brother is something Jace struggles to cope with.

The dragon image is a reference to Jace’s feelings later in the season, his blood boiling and his anger growing towards his mother’s decisions with the dragon seeds. This moment is something I do believe will continue to grow and may play out in early season three.
