Hello Thrones! For the next step in becoming certified Margaery, I decided to step into a world of editing that I’ve only done once or twice...video editing. I am a frequent TikTok doom scroller, and there is nothing better than stumbling upon the most interesting, well created Game of Thrones video edit. It always makes me jealous that I don’t have the skills yet to produce such quality. Today, we are tiptoeing our way there! I have experimented with editing through CapCut before once or twice, and it has always been a frustrating process. With this edit, I am incredibly proud of the progress I made. I watched some tutorials, figured out the best way to get clips, and came up with a product that I actually like!

If anyone else has experience in editing like this, I welcome any PM or comment offering some constructive or help! I struggled the most with timing–some clips still aren’t exactly on the beat as I wanted them to be, but I hope the animations distract from it!

I was inspired, of course, by some of Margaery’s more iconic moments. You will see clips from her talk with Joffrey over a crossbow, her signature eye roll, and gentle moments from her time with Sansa in the gardens. Here’s some logistical information you might be interested in:
