How to Improve the ToG amino

I know this is a Tower of God amino, but even Jahad isn't this strict (except maybe with his daughters). Quite literally wanting to change the rules just to get his way! By the way, this post is following guidelines as I'm giving .

What this blogpost will go over that needs improvement in this amino:

* Flexibility and not changing the rules to suddenly make Leadership correct.

* Being ive of other aminos.

* Not being so controlling over personal bios.

the Situation

This was a little thing that didn't need to be made into a big deal, and sadly it was. Yes, I see the irony in my pointing it out in a post like this, nevertheless the needs to be given.

As is usual, when I ed this amino I put my usual text in the bio section. However the next day I was ed saying that I couldn't "" in my bio. I'm taken aback because I'd hardly consider information stated in one's bio to be advertising, seeing as hardly anyone reads them. That along with the fact that this is the only amino that's gone out of its way to have a problem with it.

I had already changed my bio by the time I started responding, and then attemped logic, and STILL I was being given grief. ittedly I started dishing out some sass with my blunt opinion on the matter, but that didn't change the problem: the Leader was acting like a tyrant and changing the guidelines to make himself correct. How is that just?

He'd continue to tell me I was advertising and I'd continuously point out how nothing about my new bio had an indication of advertising (outside of the external link alone). When reason officially failed it ultimately came down to a "because I said so" mixed with a "my way or the highway" childish mentality; neither of which are real reasons for anything and are masks for the ego plainly wanting things its way over another. I followed guidelines and rather than itting that he opted for changing the guidelines - which seemed pretty low - and threatening to ban me.

He did give mention of the advertising chatroom, however if that's the only place you want it then clearly state that links outside the amino can only be posted there. Current language is too ambiguous.

The real kicker is that, during all of this, he ed the very amino he was complaining about being linked. Another ironic thing, on my amino, I'd just posted and featured a PSA titled: "Share the Love" and here this guy is getting all in a knot over this

I know not every amino is going to be like mine and heavily encourage connectivity through linking (even cross amino linking in blog posts), but this felt too extreme and a bit like a childish tantrum.

He's since proposed allowing my bio to stay as is if I endorse the ToG amino. I'm a bluntly honest person, to a fault, and so I can't endorse something I don't believe in. I was so excited to (as a long time Tower of God fan), yet I've been here two days and already had to deal with this BS - so how am I to endorse it? The sad part is he could it all he wants himself, or I might have added it myself to "Leader Picks" had the leadership and community proven good after a while, but his childish attitude doesn't make me feel much like it.

I could have come up with some awesome theory just to promote and link this amino (along with the webtoon itself) if he'd just initially proposed that rather than acting unreasonable, the way he did, but instead waits until after he's checked out my amino and (I guess) finds out he actually likes it.

Because that's the thing, people don't wholey dedicate themselves to one amino. There are several great ones out there and most have a specific theme. (Below are just a few of 20+) So there's no reason to not be ive of other aminos!

I understand not wanting your amino spammed with advertisments, but that's not even close to what this situation was.

Really hope this will be read and taken into consideration instead of being disabled due to constructive criticism

(or under the guise of "advertising")

In the end it's been voted that links in bios are acceptable by the leadership team after the publication of this post.

Main complaints I see across aminos:

* Guidelines are too strict, or too strictly enforced (such as with this case...originally).

* Leadership are rude and/or childishly unreasonable (often due to them actually being ran by children).

* Not enough theories getting featured while art and contests flood the feature feed continuously.
